Story
We took in Bubs in late November 2025. Before we took him in he had been coming by our home for a couple of months for food and love. We took him in because another neighborhood cat injured him and he has since recovered at our home, however we haven’t been able to locate an owner. We’re unsure if he had an owner before or had just been fed by others like us, but he is around 2 years old, no microchip, and is just about the sweetest cat I’ve ever met. He snuggles in my lap and always wants to be nearby someone. It may take him a bit of time to warm up but know he is an extremely loving, active, and silly boy. We haven’t been able to fully integrate him into our home because our other cat isn’t much of a fan of other pets, but in all attempted interactions bubs has been very curious and approachable. In a new home we are looking for someone who can give bubs all the love he deserves. Others things of note are that he loves to play, isn’t a fan of car rides, and is very food motivated.

Story
I adopted Sabrina from the Humane Society of Southwest Washington, 7 1/2 years ago. At the time I was told she was 10, but she does not appear to be an old cat now and is healthy and active. She is very shy and anxious; does like women as long as you are quiet and gentle with her. She uses her litter box for urine with no problem. (I use a clumping litter) the problem is that she tends to poop inappropriately. I leave bath towels down for her to use, and she uses them about half the time, but sometimes she will poop on a blanket or a couch or even on the floor without any reason. She eats both canned food and dry food and is of appropriate weight. She loves to jump up next to me and be petted and sometimes will even roll upside down. She has been a fully indoor cat. I haven’t been able to get her to let me pick her up or carry her. I have not had her vaccinated again since I got her as it is very difficult to get her to the vet and she is not around any other cats.

Story
My father passed away and I inherited his cat. I don’t know much about her background but she’s exhibiting signs of stress in my home. My family members do not want Padme. The local shelter rejected her due to behavioral issues. I cannot keep her as we have children in the home that may be stressing her out more. She needs a home with low stimulation, a home with dogs or cats is ok, but I often imagine Padme with a solo owner. Like before.

Story
Cookie is a sweet little tabby cat who enjoys having a place to hang out and pets. Not much is known about her history as she showed up at some ones house pregnant. She seems to do ok with other cats and would probably do good with proper introductions. She's never been around dogs or children that I know of but would probably be ok with children who are gentle and know how to be kind and safe around animals. She is ready for her own home. She comes vaccinated, dewormed, tested negative for feline leukemia and aids, microchipped, and spayed. If you are interested in meeting her please fill out an application at www.sccpets.comIf you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.June 2, 2025, 4:20 pm
