Microwave and Toaster are a bonded pair, meaning that they must go home together. This pair of kittens are extremely loving and will gladly take all of the attention you provide them. But this doesn`t mean you have to be with them all of the time, they are also happy enjoying each other`s time and may wander off anyways.Disclosure: This kitten was in shelter during a feline calicivirus outbreak. They are better now, but they can still shed the virus and it is difficult to determine how long that will be for. As long as the FVRCP vaccination is up-kept, living with other vaccinated cats should not be a problem. If you want to meet Microwave and Toaster, please come by the shelter during our open hours: Saturday-Wednesday 1-5pm. There adoption fee is $255, but until January 1st with our `Home for the Holidays` event they are $240.Microwave and Toaster are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
We'll also keep you updated on Toaster's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Let`s talk all things Clutch:Clutch arrived to the shelter as a kitten with a large head wound. He had been out in the world, fending for himself, and at some point had become injured. Clutch was so lucky as to find a young person willing to help him, although Clutch did give him quite the spook!Clutch went through a whole lot of special care. The staff at the WCHS worked hard to make sure Clutch was healing well, and he is finally ready to go to his forever home. Clutch will likely always be a special little cat. He has a tendency to scratch at the scar that has closed up the wound on his head. Clutch will scratch and scratch and cause a new wound to open up again. We have noticed this tendency is getting better, but Clutch needs to wear his cone whenever he is having an itchy flare up. We would love to get some hats made for Clutch so that he does not injure himself while also not having to be so fully restricted. Clutch is on a gentle diet that makes allergen flare ups less likely. This food has really helped his skin, coat, and also his weight gain. Clutch is very small overall! For any questions regarding Clutch, please email staff@whitmanpets.org. He is accepting in person visitors Saturday-Wednesday 1pm-5pm!Clutch is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Clutch`s adoption fee is $200, which helps us to replenish our Hope Fund for more cats and kittens like him that arrive to the shelter in need of more advanced medical care. This month, we have a $50 discount on all adoptions for our Home for the Holidays event.

Story
**FOSTER CAT, APPOINTMENT ONLY** Bunny is one of the most loving little creatures you will ever have the blessing of meeting. She is so kind and patient, something she shows us each day as she learns to navigate this world with her new body. Bunny arrived to the team at TLC after being hit by a car. She was in rough shape, but they worked hard to get her turned around. Bunny had her front left leg amputated due to severe nerve damage from the accident. She is still learning how to be a three legged little guy, but gets more balanced each day. Bunny loves to purr, cuddle, head butt, and also take her personal space. She lives with her foster brother, Koozie, who is another special foster cat we have. Bunny is a lot less in your face than Koozie. I think they call it `demure`. Bunny would really like a friend in her new home. She is very relaxed, and has no need to establish dominance, or even to care who has it in the first place. Another reason Bunny needs a friend is not quite as important as the fact she loves them, but it could be important to her new family! Bunny can`t really cover her business up in the litter box...she has ONE arm! No way. Right now, Koozie has the task of cleaning up her little piles after she exits the box. He is diligent in keeping their home a respectable place!Bunny is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Bunny is a Hope Fund cat, meaning her adoption fee is $200. This helps us replenish the funds used for cats and kittens like her that are in need of extra rescuing. This month we have a $50 discount on all adoptions for our Home for the Holidays event.

Story
**FOSTER CAT, APPOINTMENT ONLY**Pepper is a young momma kitty who has been doing a fantastic job raising 4 spunky kittens. Pepper is still learning how to be herself, as the past 5 months of her life have been about growing her babies, having her babies, and then raising her babies. Before that she wasn`t even a year old herself! Pepper is looking for a family where she can learn to cat without all this added responsibility of parenthood. She did her job, now it is time for her to be the baby herself!Pepper has been very patient with us here in shelter. We believe she could do well in any home willing to give her the time and space she needs to be a kitty. Pepper is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $90, but this month all of our adoption fees are $50 off for our Home for the Holidays event.

Story
**FOSTER KITTEN, APPOINTMENT ONLY**The Taco Litter was rescued by a kind family that had noticed their momma cat, Pepper, toting around a litter of young kittens. These little babies have become accustomed to the good life, and can be a little sassy when they meet strangers because of this. They know the world revolves around them, so you should too!! These kittens have proved to their foster day in and day out that they are brave and capable, but only with one of their friends. After spending the past 8 weeks with her as they have been preparing to go home, she has noted they would do best with one of their litter mates. Here at the WCHS we believe in honoring the bonds that cats and kittens form during their lives, especially for those that go through tough challenges. These kittens must be adopted in pairs of two. The adoption fee for a pair of these little taco kittens is $240. They are played and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
