You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org Molly is a sweet, older kitty who was found on the streets and owners never came forward. She is sweet, not too needy but affectionate, and loves to sleep with her foster Mom. She just needs a soft place to land. She is doing great right now but her labs indicate early signs of kidney disease. We do not feed vet foods but rather, high meat content kibble and canned foods like Instinct or Nulo for 2 examples (carnivore appropriate diets). We are a foster home-based rescue and have no facility to visit. Some of our kitties can be seen at our PetSmart partner store in Gig Harbor and it will be noted on their profile if they are at this public location. Prior to adoption, as a minimum, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated age appropriate (will need additional vaccines in some cases), parasite treated/prevented and micro-chipped. Tini is a one year old indoor only cats. He has lived with my two other cats since I got him at about 5 weeks old. He is very vocal, very food motivated and quite energetic. He is in need of a family that has the time and resources to give him tons enrichment. He gets along with cats, and likely can get along with dogs that have cat experiences. He is a very sweet and cuddly cat. He is a rough player and needs another animals who tolerates his type of play and will engage as well.

Story

We met Kitana late 2022 at the Seattle humane Society. We were informed that she has manx syndro and that urinary problems such as having accidents in her sleep, of which they informed us that she has not shown those types of symptoms while at the shelter for the 4 month stay. We were prepared for the challenge and accepted her into our home. She was very skiddish for a long while but the longer she stayed and surprisingly having a kid helped her progress in her trust of others, confidence, tolerability, comfort, etc. we thought she was a winning cat. But now that we are expecting another child her behavior has changed. She is more combative with our first child and is peeing on the bed with intent almost daily. not just the occasional accident. If this were not a severe health risk to my pregnant wife, Kitana would be a permanent family member. Kitana needs someone who is attentive to her needs/syndrome and that can give a lot of patience and love. She really is a good cat.
