Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. The Laughter litter, born 8/11/24, certainly lives up to their name! Every time we play with them, we end up laughing. All of these short-haired kittens are social and fun, and will do well in any sort of home and family. For your amusement, we have: GIGGLE - female, solid black (no collar in video) CHUCKLE - female, solid black (purple collar in video) GRIN - male, orange tabby (no collar in video) (ADOPTED) SNICKER - female, tortoiseshell (ADOPTED) CACKLE - female, black/white tuxedo SNORT - male, orange tabby with white toes & throat (green collar in video) We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies." All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $65 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
We'll also keep you updated on Chuckle's adoption status with email updates.

Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing the Star kittens! This lovely litter, born 8/5/24, looks at first glance like a typical litter of tuxedo kitties, but on further inspection, each of them has something that makes them just a bit special and unique. BETELGEUSE (male) looks the most like a classic tuxedo, and has longer fur than his siblings. Love his white eyebrows and whiskers! (ADOPTED) SIRIUS (male) has an adorable black symmetrical blotch on his nose with a white outline and white muzzle. (ADOPTED) VEGA (female) has the cutest white spots under her nose, and a white U shape under her chin. ANTARAS (female) has a half white, half black muzzle, a black spot on her chin, and a bold white blaze between her eyes. These sweet kitties will adapt well to pretty much any sort of family, including those with children, other cats, and dogs. We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. Story
Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Itsy, Bitsy, and Teeny - born 8/19/24 - were part of a feral colony on which we are doing Trap-Neuter-Return. They arrived at the shelter when they were only 5 weeks old, so have been wonderfully socialized by staff and volunteers, and will make excellent family members. This trio includes: ITSY - medium-haired male grey tabby with white BITSY - short-haired female black & white tuxedo TEENY - short-haired female all black You know you want a kitten... but if the kitten distribution system says they do better in pairs, then three it is! Just kidding - you don't have to adopt all three, just however many your family desires. Kittens at this age can also "mix and match" with other similarly aged kittens from different litters. We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions.
