Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Story
New Orleans is a sweet and affectionate young cat. She loves to play and is a chatty girl. She loves to explore and is a big fan of climbing her tall cat tree. New Orleans would do best in a home where she can get lots of attention and playtime. She is an energetic and playful kitty who needs lots of interaction and play time so she doesn't become tempted to nibble on your hands and ankles! New Orleans likes to be with you so she will follow you around and settle in with you wherever you sit down. She'd make a great work from home buddy as she will happily nap next to your keyboard. New Orleans will adorably wait for you by the door and flop down at your feet when you enter the room. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home.Adoption donation: $150 Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Jolene is a lovebug. She tends to be frightened around new people, but gets comfortable very fast. She loves cuddling, and is very laidback. She naps a lot. She doesn't like to play much, she definitely is a lapcat. She would do well with someone in a small home. I got her a few months back and absolutely fell in love with her. She has a raspy meow, and she is extremely talkative. I could talk to her for hours, and always responds. She cuddles every night, and is not afraid to "loaf" at any given moment. She was truly a treat to be around, she clearly loves very hard. I can't name one person that wasn't obsessed with her. Whenever she's excited, her tail twitches and she begins to stand on her hind legs. She loves being brushed and she is extremely wellbehaved with company.
