Story
Connor can be described as a Friendly Farmhand: This cat is often very social, but high energy and prey drive may prove challenging for a typical home environment. These cats are easily frustrated if not allowed the freedom and stimulation of the outdoors. This kitty will cheerfully lend a hand, and because he’s tireless, often works overtime due to his over-achieving ways! Friendly Farmhands typically came from a home where they were allowed indoor/outdoor or were outdoor-only cats. They are not interested in being confined in a home. Our Working/Barn Cat Program is designed to find feral and community cats safe outdoor homes in barns, warehouses, farms, and other safe locations for cats that are not candidates for our traditional adoption programs. These are not necessarily lap cats. Why Adopt a Working Cat?Working Cats benefit their caretakers! Supporting a Working Cat is the safest way to control the rodent population in your barn, warehouse, or other storage areas. There are no poisons for children and pets to get into and no need to set nasty traps! Working Cats will help keep rodents away AND you’ll have the satisfaction of giving them a much-needed home. What Will You Provide?•A warm, secure, dry building or space for shelter from the elements and predators•The space and ability to keep new a new Working Cat confined to a sheltered, small, enclosed area, or large dog crate (with clean litter box) for four to six weeks to acclimate them to their new environment before release•Regular/daily food and water•Monitoring and providing for the safety and well-being of the cats•Willingness to provide licensed veterinary care in the event of injury or illnessOur working/barn cat adoption fee is $25 plus any applicable license. They receive the FVRCP (feline distemper combo) vaccine, have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Lacey, Rainier, Thurston / Pierce County, Wa. 98576 / 98597 /98513 2 cats spayed, neutered, litter trainied, easy care. Both around small and large dogs, children, and seniors, all around the bestest cats ever. They are 100% indoor they would probably not do well if near roads that they would wonder and could possibly be hit by a car. Although they both loved the outdoors when they had freedom of 2 acres, its sad they ended up having the city life in an apartment 400 sq ft. The change never affected them negatively. 5 pound short hair female 12 yrs loves to relax and chill 24/7. She will mind her business and just curl up and sleep. She's not energetic, loud, or obnoxious. She basically will let you know if she wants petting, fur brushing, or solo attention.

Story
We bought Rosie from a woman whos cat was knocked up by a stray, and took her home at 8 weeks, she turns 2 in February. She got along with our older dog just fine, but has recently become kind of mean to her as she has gotten older. She is very loveable, great with small kids, and great withbour other cat. She adores my two youngest daughters and lets them carry her around like a baby, push her in a stroller etc. We just arent in a position to keep her anymore, and dont want her to get worse in her behavior towards our little dog. She bullies her.

Story
Adorable, active, and affectionate domestic shorthair black and white bonded pair of cats. They are from different mothers but my girls and I raised them from when they were just days old. They are up to date on all shots and treatments. So loving, really smart, quite mischievous (but in a really cute way, if that helps!). Excellent with kids and gentle dogs. They have always been inside house cats, litter trained. They would absolutely love to try the outside life as well, I’m sure. Both born around 6/4/23. Can come with litter boxes, meds, toys, food if desired. We are very sad, moving and cannot take them with us. They really need to stay together. Rehoming fee $45 for both. Thank you for considering.

Story
**Meet the Power Puff Girls!** These amazing girls have been with Oakbrook for many months, and despite their loveliness, they're still searching for their forever family. Their adoption fees are discounted due to their length of stay, so now is the perfect time to bring one (or all!) of them into your home. Ideally, they would be adopted together, but Blossom (Anise) can find a new family on her own if she has another companion to keep her company. **Blossom (Anise)** - The friendliest of the trio, Blossom has a heart of gold! She loves food and can be quite vocal when she's excited. This sweet mama adores a good window perch where she can soak up the sun and keep an eye on the world. You'll often see her carrying toys in her mouth, ready to play and share the fun. **Buttercup (Liquorice)** - Independent yet sassy, Buttercup has a playful spirit! She absolutely loves dogs and will delight in a game of chase or hide-and-seek with you. With her fun and feisty personality, she'll keep you entertained and engaged. **Bubbles (Peppercorn)** - This quirky girl has a fascination with water! Be prepared for a splash zone, as Bubbles likes to make a little mess while she drinks. With her charming crossed eyes and possible depth perception issues, she won't let anything slow her down. Her playful antics and curiosity make her a joy to be around! These girls thrive in a calm indoor environment where they have access to windows and room to climb and explore. They enjoy the simple pleasure of water puddled up in the bathtub, and they get along well with friendly, calm dogs. While they haven't been introduced to other cats, their personalities shine brightly, and they are ready to bring joy to your home. Their foster family even considered adopting them, but unfortunately, one of the resident dogs isn't accepting them. They are open to answering questions or doing meet-and-greets to see if these lovely girls would be a good fit for you. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome the Power Puff Girls into your heart and home!
