Story
This chatty, social girl captured our hearts in mid-Sep 2024 at the Seattle Area Feline Rescue. We were looking for a sweet companion to bring us together in a shared bonding experience. Her history includes being found as a stray, having very strong reactions to other cats, and being very "chatty". She has been consistent with using her litter box (yay!), eating and drinking consistently (she loves her meals!), LOVES to play chase with spring coils and tiny fake mice, and enjoys her cat bed and/or back of the couch more than her climbing tower. Charlie likes being with her humans and would be a great coworker for anyone working-from-home. Her experience with dogs has been unknown, but upon seeing 2 different dogs, she has shown fight-response. A home with no dog or cat companions is a must for this girl. Known to do well with older children (10+). We plan to send along her favorite bed and toys, any remaining food and litter for consistency, and a few small blankets & carrier. Thanks!

Story
Stella is a super sweet kitty with the perfect blend of playfulness and cuddliness. She enjoys pouncing on balls and wand toys, but her energy level is just right—not too demanding. This calm and gentle girl loves being around people, making her the ideal companion for a home where someone is around during the day.Stella does have a history of seizures and requires medication three times a day, but she is such a good girl for it! Stella does require a home that can accommodate her current medication schedule. While she does just fine on her own, she thrives with human interaction! Stella is easily handled, enjoys being petted, and has a knack for finding cozy spots to relax after exploring her surroundings. With a loving heart and a gentle nature, she has so much love to give. If you’re looking for a furry friend who will bring joy and companionship into your life, Stella is ready to meet you!Stella is currently in a foster home and unavailable for adoption at the adoption center. If you want to learn more about her, please email us at fosteradoptions@seattleareafelinerescue.org. Thank you for choosing adoption and making a rescued kitty part of your family! Story
Penelope is a loving girl who is around 5.5 years old, but unfortunately she refuses to get along with our other cat. We adopted her from a friend in January 2024 and Penelope and my other cat got along for the first six months. Unfortunately, my other cat was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and it’s to the point where Penelope is displaying aggression towards her due to her smelling like the vet and being visibly ill. My other cat has a short time left in her life and I emotionally can no longer deal with this. I’ve tried Jackson Galaxy’s methods of reintroduction twice and despite seeing results after a full introduction, Pea and my other cat seem to fall back into their same old fights. For the interest of myself and my other cat, Pea needs a new home. She loves cuddles and snuggles under the blanket and loves people. She might need to warm up to you, but she is a cuddle bug for sure.
