She had been trapped in a cage, hidden under a trap. Evidence found in a nearby freezer suggested that she had been on the verge of being slaughtered. Thankfully, she is now thriving in her foster home. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is shy and will hide and be wary of strangers. However, when she's with her foster guardian, she'll lay down and rest showing her belly and even come over when she's bored! Sometimes gets around taking her toys with her at night. * With Cats: Got along well with other feline friends at our center. * Separation Anxiety: Does well on her own in a separated place. * Litter Type: Currently uses tofu litter. * Hygiene: Is still wary of human touch, making grooming a bit challenging. We adopted Gracie with her brother George. She is a very shy, skittish cat and seems to need to be the only cat in a house. She takes a while to warm up to people, but then is very happy to be pet or sit in your lap. Recently, we have noticed her spraying in the house, and it is no longer feasible for us to keep Gracie in the house.
