He enjoys spending time with his people and being petted, but he also needs his own space. He is not a fan of loud noises or sudden movements, so he would do best in a home with older children or adults only. Hayden is a low-maintenance cat who is content to groom himself and nap in the sun all day. He is also a good eater and uses the litter box without any problems. Meet the fabulous, Gigi Bonnie! Gigi, is nervous about being picked up and petted, she may become overstimulated. She is shy but once she warms up she is extremely playful. She prefers a quiet home and gets anxious around children. She loves to hide her favorite toys which includes toy mice and plastic cat balls. Gigi takes medication (Gabapentin ) for arthritis and takes it in pill form. Like all Purrfect Pals cats, Gigi has been viral tested, altered, microchipped and vaccinated. Meet Gus! Gus was surrendered to our vet clinic due to having diabetes and his owners were unable to manage him. Normally we don't take cats but how could we can no to this adorable face? Gus is a 9 year old Domestic Shorthair who is a recent diabetic and takes his insulin twice daily. He is a very good boy for his injections and hardly puts up any fight. His foster mom says that he can be shy at first in new spaces but loves to head butt and show you his tummy. Gus is on 2U of insulin twice daily and eats diabetic food which has really helped him stabilize. Moving forward he should only need annual vet visits unless something happens. Gus' foster calls him a little trash panda as he tries to get into all the cat treats constantly! He even told his foster sibling how he really felt when she got too close to his food (nobody was hurt physically but mentally Kona might have been a little upset). Gus is good with other cats and dogs as long as they understand cat boundaries. Gus is current on vaccines, neutered and otherwise healthy. They are beautiful... fun markings. These very sweet, very affectionate kittens were found dumped at home in Arlington. There are 3 boys - Mickey, Goofy and Donals, and 2 girls - Daisy, Clarabelle (Minnie was already scooped up by a foster family). At about 5 months old, they are in the 5# range. For kittens that were dumped, they are so social, so they likely were living in a home. They are playful too! Honestly - there is not a bad one in the bunch! Daisy is a spicy little girl - she loves to pounce and play! We are slowly working on dog introductions, they do the typical 'halloween cat' arch when seeing the foster's dogs. Ha! As with most kittens, they are ‘mutts’ - we don’t have a history on both parents, so we guess on breed by hair length and coloring. They are using their litter box, and eating both dry kibble and wet food. When you adopt a kitten or cat from Save-A-Mutt - adopters are sign a contract indicating you will: - never declaw your adopted cat(s) - keep your adopted kitten(s) indoors - care for your adopted cat(s) for their entire lives When they go home, these kittens will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated to age appropriate, we think they will just need an FVRCP booster - rabies will be done already. They are treated for parasites too. Your kitten will go home with an adoption bag of treats, toys and kitten collar. Adoption fee is $150. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3. We happily adopt them in pairs with a $50 reduction for the pair. Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north.
