Echo Snuggles lives up to her name. This girl is all about the lovings. She comes to sit in your lap and lets you pet away. Any speed and style of petting, your choice. Echo is simply happy to be loved. She is a young cat who continues to play like a kitten. She is a friendly, gentle girl with people and cats. She lives with other foster cats and does great. She has met some dogs, mostly smaller, and has been okay with them. You couldn't ask for a sweeter girl to join your family. Echo's ideal home is one where her family has time to to indulge her petting needs, and who know she'll be most confident when she gets to choose when it is lap time. She'd likely do best in a calm home. Cuddle, cuddle, cuddle..adopt Echo Snuggle and feel the love come back at you! Meet Hera!! Hera is a gorgeous little brown and white tabby! Hera is a confident and independent spirit! This beautiful girl enjoys doing things on her own terms, whether it's lounging in a cozy spot, watching the world go by, or indulging in her plethora of toys. She's not one for constant attention but appreciates a calm, quiet space. Hera loves cat trees and can typically be found perched in one! She will curl up into the hammock portion and snooze the day away. She would thrive in a home where she can enjoy her freedom but still have a loving, respectful environment when she’s ready for some cuddles. If you're looking for a cat who’s content to do her own thing but will reward you with affection on her own time, Hera would be the perfect fit! When Hera is winding down for the day, she loves a good cuddle session! This sweet girl will happily curl into a soft bed with you to get her beauty sleep. She is fostered with several other kittens and coexists very well with them. She would do great as a spoiled only child or integrating into a kitty pack! Don’t miss out on this sweet independent little girl! Click here to apply → https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/661d7e1ed52f6de13400debc Questions? If you're going to get a kitty, get a soft one!!! Yarrow Flower is as soft as the come! You'll want to pet and pet her because she's just that soft. Yarrow says, 'Great!', because she LOVES to be petted. She'll let you pet and pet and pet. It is a mutually beneficial arrangement! Not only is Yarrow bunny soft, but she is as sweet as she is soft. She is a gentle, quiet girl who doesn't demand much from you other than those pets. Oh, well there is her squeeze treat addiction. She comes running when the squeeze treats come out! Yarrow will do a fantastic impression of a meerkat to get at her squeeze treat. Yarrow also appreciates a good cat tree. It doesn't have to be tall as long as it has a cozy spot to curl up in at the top. Boxes are also magic. She runs and jumps in her box for treats and pets. Yarrow lives with and gets along with other cats and a 60 lb puppy. Yarrow is a gentle girl who would most enjoy a home and family who have a matching sweet personality. It makes her foster feel so special when Yarrow crawls into her lap for some cuddle time, which usually when she's working at the computer. She'll probably do best in a home with either older kids or adults only. She's good with other pets. Soft fur, warm heart! This is Yarrow Flower's motto. Add her to your own warm hearted family! What's your love language? Crown Royal's is food! Or maybe you're working on your cooking skills and need a forgiving but vocal supervisor to "YES CHEF" while you practice in the kitchen? Crown Royal can help you there too. She takes dinner time very seriously, and it's hard not to love her enthusiasm! Crown Royal is a cheerful, active, and slightly sassy lady who’s ready to find her forever home! With a personality that’s as big as her heart, this little dynamo is sure to steal *your* heart with her charm, sass, and zest for life. Don’t let her small size fool you—Crown Royal is a natural-born leader. As the self-appointed supervisor of her foster home, she’s always ready to provide vocal guidance, ensuring that everything goes according to her plan. Her little chirps and meows are practically orders—she’s the boss, and frankly, she knows it! Her leadership skills are top-notch, and she’s always making sure things stay on track. When she’s not busy running the show, Crown Royal loves spending quality time with her foster family. She doesn't like to be grabbed, but will often choose to sit close to you on the couch and will come into your lap when she wants pets. She doesn't need a giant home as she prefers to be hanging out wherever you are. Be sure not to confuse Crown Royal's attentiveness for neediness-- she's capable of entertaining herself too, especially when there are Yeeeeeow brand catnip toys involved. Crown Royal lives with cats, dogs, and even a rowdy puppy. She's pretty secure and dog-savvy, already using her great leadership skills to teach the puppy some cat-manners. As a mama cat, Crown Royal was a calm and protective presence, keeping a watchful eye over her little ones to make sure they were safe and sound. She did a great job raising her last litter and is ready to be adored. Crown Royal enjoys a relaxed, low-key lifestyle, but she knows how to turn on the playfulness and chatty energy when she’s in the mood. Whether she’s giving you a running commentary on her dinner plans or curling up next to you for some quiet time on the couch, she’ll keep you entertained and shower you with affection (on her terms, of course!). Story
With chicken off the menu, Frank and Flynn have created a beautiful friendship! Do you believe in destiny!? We certainly do, just look at this adorable pair. Frank and Flynn are now a bonded pair that came to our rescue at two different times. Frank came to us back in April, he had come in with his brother, both very shy kitties. They were placed into our barn cat program and ended up being separated. Frank got very sick so we had to bring him inside and he became comfortable and came out of his shell. We kept him in our isolation section while we tried to get him better, his next-door neighbor was Flynn who came to us in November. The two of them had stomach issues we couldn't figure out. We had to narrow down what was causing their upset tummies and we soon realized that they were both allergic to chicken, what are the odds. We wanted to move them out of our isolation section and get them into bigger kennels after being in iso for so long. As we were moving them we felt sad for Frank because he really enjoys the companionship of another cat, but we couldn't put anyone with him due to his food allergy. Until we realized that Flynn having the same allergy would be the perfect match to be his kennel roommate. After a few days went by we realized just how much these two loved each other, from grooming one another to snuggling up together for naps. We couldn't be happier for these two cuties and their new friendship, without chicken😂.

Story
Meet Dumpling, the ultimate tamale enthusiast! This mischievous feline has an undeniable passion for tamales-so much so that the moment you divert your attention, she's on a mission to snatch one! Tonight, Dumpling is embarking on a valuable lesson in the finer points of bed privileges with her beloved hoomans. Beyond the lure of Churu treats, Dumpling seeks the perfect balance of love, attention, and, of course, the essential Churu indulgence in her daily equation. This adorable furball is not just a tamale connoisseur but also a delightful addition to any household, bringing joy, charm, and a touch of culinary curiosity to every moment! Dumpling came to DPA last fall with SEVEN kittens. She raised her sweet little dumplets with care and devotion, but she's been waiting to be the center of attention for her very own human family. Dumpling is vocal about demanding affection (and the aforementioned tamales,) and she's very particular about whom she shares her space with; she would prefer not to compete with other pets when it comes to getting attention. She wants your world to revolve around HER and she is ready to shine! All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for cats over six months to seven years is $100, kittens under six months is $150, cats eight years and over are $50 unless specified otherwise. You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-cats/ .
