Story
This adoption involves a bonded pair. Eamonn (left) and Jonah (right). Pictured on the left is Eamonn. He is 8 years old and is deaf. He's friendly and can be affectionate. Due to his deafness, Eamonn may become overstimulated if he receives too many pets below the neck. However, he does love ear rubs and head pats. Pictured on the right is Jonah. Jonah is about 3 years old and is really timid. He will need time to adjust to his surroundings. For Jonah, Eamonn is like a safety blanket. Jonah is very comfortable with Eamonn and these two staying together is best for both cats. Due to his anxiousness, Jonah tends to overgroom himself. However, once he's at ease, he is an affectionate and loving cat. Jonah is not deaf and does not become overly stimulated by pets or being touched. He really loves belly rubs (and does not attack if they are given). Both of these cats are very kind and loving. They deserve someone or a family who can provide them the same love, patience and understanding.

Story
Given to us by a mutual friend, Alice is a one year old gray domestic shorthair. She is very shy when you first meet her, but when you give her time to get acclimated, she will become the most affectionate, loving, playful, and sweet girl she is. Her perfect home will give her plenty of space to roam and explore as well as her daily zoomies. She is meant to be a cat on her own and does not do well with other cats or dogs.

Story
We adopted Mindi from PetSmart last year. Mindi is two years old, she is very sweet and does great with kids. She enjoys the outdoors and sleeping in her comfy bed. We are moving in to a small apartment and unfortunately we can't take her with us. Also, my son is having allergic reactions on his skin lately and doctor said it's because of the cat. We just want her to be in a safe loving home❤️

Story
UNEMPLOYED BARN CATS seeking suitable positions with available vermin. The shelter has barn cats ready for immediate employment. We hate seeing them languish in cages when they could be productive members of wildlife society! If you are interested email animalsvc@georgetowntexas.org with the subject line of "interested in a barn cat". The application/screening process for potential adopters usually takes about 24 hours except when it falls over a weekend or holiday, and then it may take two or three days. We ask that potential adopters please be patient with us; we are only trying our best to ensure that the homeless pets in our care get the best possible home. All cats and dogs adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered (as Texas law mandates). Our adoption fee is currently $70 for non-residents and $75 for residents*. The adoption fee includes: spaying/neutering vaccinations (appropriate to species and age) heartworm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age) de-worming medication microchip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin, which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly) There is a $5 Pet License fee added to the adoption fee if the adopter lives inside the City Limits of Georgetown. Please visit our website for more information on how to adopt, special events, adoption application, educational and volunteer information. http://pets.georgetown.org/ Georgetown Animal Shelter P.O. Story
Scottie is a wonderful young cat who was rescued from living underneath an apartment building. Scottie is so friendly, we think, he must have been somebody's kitten at one point. When we rescued him, Scottie was living in the crawl space of an apartment building alongside with about 20 other cats. Scottie has already been fully vetted, he's FIV/Leukemia NEGATIVE. He's a super nice cat, very affectionate, playful and super easy. We think, he can get used to a friendly dog. Scottie is looking for an adult home. Ingrid (512) 980-0105 pcdrapps@yahoo.com

Story
Meowdy there, future best fur-iend! I’m Reggie—a dashing black panther with a suave white “tux” patch on my chest. I’m basically dressed to impress 24/7! I’m all about the chill life—rubbing against you for pets, lounging around, and being your smooth, loyal sidekick. I’ve shared space with other kitties before, but I’d thrive best in a calm, cozy home where I can relax and soak up the attention. I`m not really into being held (a gent needs his space, after all!) but trust me, my heart is full of love to give! Ready to be my partner in paws? Let’s make some purr-fect memories together! The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet Reggie with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.We will see you at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Story
14 year old brown tabby that was adopted from the Williamson County Animal Shelter. She is an easy going cat who highly prefers a quiet and calm environment without any additional pets (dogs or cats) or young children. She is shy at first and usually takes her time to adjust to her new home, but will sit with you and lay in bed with you once she feels at home. She is a low key cat who doesn't need a lot of attention, but just a few pets and some time together in your presence to feel comfortable. Would also be best with owners who worked remotely.

Story
This beautiful adult cat has brought so much joy and comfort to our life. The only reason we are trying to rehome her is because of severe allergic reactions developed in our kid. Despite being an adult, Puma has a playful and curious spirit, always exploring and investigating her surroundings. Her soft fur and gentle purrs are incredibly soothing, making her the perfect companion for relaxation. She is low-maintenance, easy to care for, and will adapt seamlessly to her new environment. If yo are considering adopting an adult cat, I highly recommend giving Puma a chance. She will bring love, comfort, and companionship into your life.
