Story
Say hello to Dixie! A 7 year old, female tabby cat. Dixie enjoys attention, but only when she decides it’s time. Think of her as the queen of the household, she’ll happily accept your affection when she’s in the mood, and when she’s not, she’s perfectly content to do her own thing, which is mostly likely take a catnap. Dixie is an independent cat, she doesn’t cling, but she loves knowing you’re nearby. She would do well in a home with another cat, having lived with another cat previously. Dixie would thrive in a calm environment where her boundaries are respected, letting her retreat to a bed whenever she decides its time for another nap. Dixie is looking for a forever home that understands her unique personality and appreciates her balance of independence and affection. If you’re searching for a cat who will keep you company while also respecting your space, Dixie might just be the perfect match.Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Story
Penelope is a beautiful 1-year-old brown tabby with a heart full of quiet strength. After lovingly raising a litter of kittens, this devoted mama is now ready to be the center of someone’s world. In her foster home, Penelope proved to be a calm and adaptable companion. She coexisted peacefully with a small dog and welcomed new visitors without hesitation. While she isn’t overly clingy, Penelope enjoys gentle pets and being near her people—especially if there’s a sunny window sill nearby for bird-watching.Penelope has a playful side, but she can get a little spirited during playtime, so she’d do best in a home with older children who understand her boundaries. She’s independent, confident, and ready to blossom in a home where she can be loved for who she is.Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Story
Hi there! I`m Phantom! I am a 14 year old, male white and brown tabby. I am front paw declawed so I won`t be tearing up any of your furniture. I am a very snuggly and talkative boy. I will have entire conversations with you! I love to explore and hang around my human. My favorite thing to do is snuggle with my brother Ghost, who I need to be adopted with. We are on kidney care food, but besides that, we are in great shape! Would you give a good home to two senior boys?Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Story
Meet Indigo! A 5 month old, 7 pound, male Domestic Shorthair kitten. This loveable, adorable boy is exactly what you`d expect from a young kitten any more. Full of personality, and bound to keep you guessing what he does next. Indigo loves putting anything and everything in his mouth, much as a toddler discovers things this way, Indigo loves to learn the flavor of everything. Be it his food, toys, your finger. Indigo has a big personality and meows and mews after anyone that might give him attention. He has a tendency to play bite and naw, this we believe because he might have been taken from his mother too early. Regardless, Indigo is full of vigor and will keep you laughing as you watch his misadventures.Indigo would be a better fit for families with no children, or older children (teens). He is a rambunctious little guy, who`ll make a fun, loving and affectionate fur baby addition to your home. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. The best way to get in touch with us is by email: info@secondchancespca.org.
