Story
Grubbs is a sweet, adventurous tabby boy. He loves making biscuits, drooling while purring, and trying to escape outside for adventures. He gets along easily with other animals. He's a bit anxious, and some of our dogs are too much for him. We want what's best for him and think that he would be happier in a calmer home. His best friend is Grimm and ideally, they would go to an understanding family that is willing to take in a bonded pair, but Grubbs has always been very independent and would be okay to be adopted out alone.

Story
We rescued Zumo as a kitten from a shelter and have had him for 4 years. He loves playing hide-and-seek in his tunnels, jumping onto his cat shelves and sleeping in his cat tower. He also loves to play with his bug wand and with his puzzle box. Though he is not the warmest cat, he will always come up to you before bedtime for nightly mashing to get head rubs. We've recently moved into a home in a new area and didn't realize how many stray/feral cats that roam around and even into our backyard (the lady across the street allows her cats to roam freely). Because of this, it has increased his anxiety quite a bit and we've noticed new behaviors like marking in the house. He had never done this at our previous residences since we lived in apartments. Since moving into a one-story home where other cats are present outside, it has increased his stress levels. We would like to rehome him to a loving family/individual that can give him attention and the care that he needs.

Story
Found near McNeil Highschool, home of the Mavericks, This kitty (Nicknamed Maverick) was found! She is a cuddly, affectionate, sweet, playful cat that really just wants a forever home. When coming home, she’s the first to “meow” a hello, and she will appreciate your company very much. She’s become very trusting and open after living indoors, so hopefully that can be her future lifestyle! She’s much more well mannered in comparison to most strays, which is why we expected her to be a found cat, but after a while (and the lost cat search ending) we noticed she has a keen appetite, and is very intelligent in ensuring her mischievous plots occur, similar to some stray cats. But who doesn’t love a smart kitty! She’s a curious cat and loves to learn about people, just don’t leave any human food out! With an intoxicating personality and a hungry appetite for love, Maverick is sure to bring lots of joy to your home.

Story
Meet Gizmo, a young (approximately 1 year), vibrant soul with a heart full of love. His sweetness is undeniable, winning hearts with his gentle purrs, fervent chatter at mealtime, eager greetings, and soft nuzzles. Gizmo's playful side is a joy to behold, with his energetic antics and charming games - he really loves a good string toy. But Gizmo also wants a good cuddle, finding comfort in the warm lap of a friend, and wants to be near his people. Despite his friendly demeanor, Gizmo can be a little shy at first, needing time to trust and open up. But once he does, he will be clamoring for lots of neck and ear scratches. Gizmo was a stray who decided to spend a lot of time in our yard, but he was also getting beat up by some other kitties, so we have given him a place to stay while he healed from his wounds and received medical care (neuter and shots). Gizmo is FIV+, see link for more info about FIV: https://www.austinpetsalive.org/blog/myths-and-truths-about-fiv

Story
Meet Ziggy (gray tabby) and Remy (orange/white calico)! Ziggy and Remy are wonderful indoor cats with a lot of personality. Both cats are very social, friendly, and enjoy a lot of attention. They're sisters from the same litter and were adopted together from Austin Pets Alive as kittens. Because they share a bond, we're looking to rehome Ziggy and Remy together. They love company, sitting in sunny windowsills, burrowing under covers to sleep, and a cozy lap to curl up in. They often chase each other from one end of the house to the other and love to play wrestle. Zig is a bit of a goofball and quirky. Remy is more attentive and independent. Both cats are very curious and loving. They would do best in a home where they get lots of love, attention, have plenty of space to run and play, and many cozy places to nap. Additional details: – They're indoor cats and share a litter box – They share dry food from an automatic feeder – Their vaccines are up to date and they get yearly vet exams.
