Story
Ariel has a unique orange color (pictures don't show the orange well) and is a very sweet and loving girl who will be shy at first. She loves attention and will let you rub her belly, but doesn't particularly like her head rubbed. She is 4 1/2 years old, spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and up to date on vaccinations. Ariel was left at an apartment complex when the owners moved and left to fend for herself for awhile. Understandably she was apprehensive when rescued and took time to warm up. Ariel loves to play and lay around in cat beds or on blankets. Ariel gets along with cats, small dogs and rabbits.

Story
Sam is a very shy boy who would make a great barn cat or friend for another cat. He is not aggressive, but it will take time and patience for him to come to you. Sam is a year old, neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is current on vaccinations. He is good with other cats but hasn't been around a lot of dogs. If you are interested in this pretty baby please go to Coffeehumane.org and fill out a Cat Adoption Application application. We are doing a $50 adoption fee since he may never be a lap cat.

Story
LIttle Iris was found by a farmer as she was crying and crying at the edge of his farm field. She was skin and bones, had a big sore on her upper lip and very scared so the farmer posted her online and our foster family offered to take her in so we could provide her the care that she needed. She was also loaded with parasites and fleas. The farmer was nice to provide her cows milk but cows milk causes diarrhea and that made her situation worse. She is now thriving and living with dogs, another kitten and kids so she is well adapted to lots of noise and activity. Iris is jet black with just one white whisker. She is very sweet too. She enjoys sleeping in a warm lap. Typical of a kitten she likes playing especially hide and seek, She will be spayed on the 22nd of October and tested for Felv/FIV. She will have had all her shots and is parasite free. So she will be ready to go to her forever home after the 22nd. She will need to be kept inside and never declawed. We have an agreement that will need to be signed upon adoption. We are a very small rescue and so iris can be seen in either in my home or the fosters home in Winchester. We don’t do applications rather we like to talk to the potential adopters to make sure that the cat is a good fit for the adopter. What makes us unique and why adopt from us? I am a certified cat behaviorist so I commit to the future adopter of Iris to help her get adjusted into her new home and be available to assist in any health or behavior questions for the rest of her life. Iris has been exposed to a lot of kids, dogs, and another cat so she is well rounded. I like to show adopters how to train their cats using clicker or treat training. It’s a lot of fun and helps build a strong relationship between the adopters and the cat. Feel free to call me or text to set up a time to chat. I Dont Do Email so please call or text . I have a farm so I am too busy to spend time on email. Thank you in advance for your interest in Iris she will be a wonderful addition to any family. Kim Walker 931-337-4199

Story
Piper has a rough early life. She was living outside and some kids were playing with her but the family wasn’t able to feed or take care of her so we offered to take her in as she was horribly thin and an injured eye. She is permanently blind in her right eye and had an injury to her pelvis that has healed. Despite all the challenges she faced she is so sweet and a cuddle bug. Like any kitten she plays well and runs around just fine. She lives with dogs, a cat and kids so she is well adjusted to a lot of noise and activity. She is talkative too. She will be spayed and tested for FIV and Felv on October 22 along with getting her shots. So she will be available to go to her forever home after the 22nd. She will need to be indoor only and not declawed. We are a small rescue so we don’t have an application to fill out however we like to talk on the phone to make sure she will be a good fit for the adopter. An agreement will need to be signed upon adoption. Why adopt from us? I am a certified feline behaviorist and so I am committed for the life of the kitten to ensure a smooth transition into her new home and help with any questions that may come up. I also can teach clicker training so you can have fun and build a stronger bond with Piper. Please give me a call or text at 931-337-4199 . Please NO email. Thank you for your interest in little Piper she will make a very sweet and loving addition to any family or person. :)
