Story
Little Bit is a beautiful botail girl. It takes her a while to earn your trust. Once she does, she's silly and playful and will sometimes let you pick her up and cuddle her. She loves catnip and gets really goofy when you give it to her. She's food motivated, and gets lovable when she's hungry or wants you to turn the faucet on for her to drink from. She'll freely let you let her when she's eating or drinking. I can walk up to her and pick her up and hug on her and pet her. Until recently, she spent most of her time perched on the cat tree or the kitchen counter where she could see where the other cats were. She has suddenly started running all over the house exploring areas where she's never been in the two years she has been here. She'll also go into the spare bedroom where those two fatty kitties hang out, and will even lay on the opposite side of the bed from them sometimes, probably because they just lay there and barely move and don't try to play with her. She likes to visit with us a lot when we're in the bathroom. When my stepson still lived at home, after a couple of weeks she would sleep in the bed with him because there were no other cats downstairs and he'd close the door to keep them out so she'd be at ease. She is very afraid of other cats. She tolerates our 2 big dogs as long as they don't get too playful with her. She really seems like she WANTS to be more affectionate with people, and it shows through sometimes. I think if she were in a home with no other animals, and with some patience, she'd really start to flourish. She definitely shouldn't be around young children. She was very traumatized by the little girl in her previous home. She was traumatized again when her owner passed away.November 21, 2024, 9:06 am

Story
Introducing this senior bonded pair of siblings. Mae and Henry. Both are around 14 to 15yrs old. They both are front declawed. Mae is sweet and will warm up quickly to her new family. She loves to be petted and loved on. She only likes to be held a very short time. Mae loves to give you a message with her paws. She loves a fuzzy blanket that she can sleep under. Henry ( orange & white) is very shy and will take awhile to warm up to his new family. He loves to be petted and loved on but does not like to be picked up. He enjoys finding a quite place he can hide and sleep. Henry will warm up faster in his new home with Temptation treats. He loves them and will often come out from hiding to get them. They both would love a quite home to enjoy the rest of their senior years together. They both enjoy sleeping , eating and just relaxing. They will be curious in their new home and will explore it. Both are very calm and enjoying watching everything going on around them rather then joining in. Mae and Henry will do best in a home with a older calmer cat rather then a young one. They do not care for dogs unless they leave them alone. Both have excellent litter box manners.November 6, 2024, 8:16 am

Story
Sweet, very playful, and constantly purring. Never scratches or bites. Loves being brushed. Born May 2018. She's very communicative and intelligent, soft, loves sleeping in baskets and sunspots. Likes a scheduled, simple life with a consistent bedtime and meals. Obsessed with munching grass in the yard (we used a leash). Hates mess and clutter, prefers very clean environment. Big personality. We adopted Pumpkin (our "Baby Girl") in 2019 after she was returned twice to the shelter by other families. she struggles to use the litter box correctly when stressed and needs a very clean and consistent environment, and access to outside regularly, which we're unable to provide. She pees on the carpet, but shows guilt. Would be a great indoor/outdoor cat, but our situation doesn't allow for that currently. I believe she just needs the right environment and she'll do fine, we just can't give it to her. She's a very special cat and I'm heartbroken to lose such a sweet and kind friend.

Story
Meet Milo - our beloved “cow cat” Milo is a loving, relaxed 11-year-old American Shorthair with a white coat and gray spots, “our cow cat”. He’s been with our family since 2013, adopted as a kitten from PetSmart in Nashville, and has grown with us through moves to South Carolina and Knoxville. Milo loves lounging by the fireplace, sitting on laps, and purring at your feet. Healthy weight and up to date on vaccinations, he thrives in calm environments and would prefer to be an only cat, though he has lived with another feline before. Sadly, due to our daughter’s health issues, we’ve had to make the heart-wrenching decision to rehome Milo. We are committed to finding him the perfect family who will cherish his gentle nature and affectionate personality. If you’re interested in welcoming Milo into your home, please reach out. We’ll be selective to ensure he finds the loving, forever home he deserves.

Story
Fern is 5-6 years old. She's a sweet girl. She and her brother Finn belonged to my mother who had to move into assisted living. She is very adaptable and has a gentle, friendly nature. Her brother is also available for adoption. It would be preferable for them to go together as they have always been in the same home, but we understand this may be a luxury. She's very pretty and has one green eye and one blue eye.
