__________________________________________________________________ Hi, my name is raven! I am a fun outgoing cat ready to meet a new friend! I get the zoomies sometimes and love to explore new things, such as this christmas tree behind me. I love my sisters, and currently share a space with Rowena, who looks just like me, so we have to wear these colored collars so the hoomins can tell us apart. When i am not running around playing hide and seek, i can be found purring in someone's lap. I let everyone know how welcome they are. Since i used to go outside, you'll have to watch me when you open the door, but other than that i am perfect. I don't know what happened to the fur on my ears, but the vet says the hair should grow back soon. All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. For cats, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter and feline AIDS/leukemia testing. All cats and kittens adopted from the Germantown Animal Shelter are not allowed to be declawed. Any questions should be directed to animalshelter@germantown-tn.gov. Or by calling the shelter at 901-757-7358.

__________________________________________________________________ Hi, I'm Rowena! You'll be watching me zip around checking out this and that, playing with new things and then coming back to you to tell you. I love pets and scritches, and going nuts for my favorite treats. I love my sisters and share a space with my sister, Raven. We look so alike, we have to wear colored collars so the hoomins can tell us apart more easily. My namesake is Rowena Ravenclaw, the founder of the Ravenclaw house at Hogwarts. Like her, i'm very diligent- about stalking and pouncing so i'll need lots of fun toys. I don't know what happened to the fur on my ears and nose, but the vet says it should grow back soon. All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. Story
__________________________________________________________________ Hi! Like my namesake, padfoot, i move very quietly. Although i'm very affectionate and love pets, scritches, and cuddles, I get startled a little more than my sisters. New people and loud sounds draw my attention very quickly and i may hide until i feel comfortable getting to know someone new. I look much like my sisters Raven and Rowena, so we all wear different colored collars to help identify us. But if you look more closely, i have a small detail that sets me apart which you can see in the second photo. Two of my toes have a tiny spot of white. I just couldn't resist flopping over and kicking my feet out while rubbing myself on this awesome bristly christmas tree. I'll probably go straight to the tree at your house and get a good brushing, too. I don't know why i am missing some fur on my ears, nose, and back legs, but the vet said it should grow back soon. My tail also needs a little filling out. All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. __________________________________________________________________ I am a luxurious, cuddly cat through and through. My favorite things to do are cuddle and explore and pose for the camera. You'll love getting head bonks and bumps whenever you are home. I love my sisters, too, and would love to be adopted with one of them, if you are looking for two siblings. One more thing to know about me is that i love climbing, so i'll need a big cat post. All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. Story
My name is Raindrop because i was found on a very rainy day and brought to the shelter soaking wet and hungry. I don't interact with people as much as other cats here, and love to keep to myself. But that doesn't mean i can't warm up to you and enjoy a good neck scratch and some time in your lap when i want to come out of my shell. I may not be super outgoing, but have my own way of bonding with special people. If you've ever had a furbaby like me before, you know the best way to win my affection. The right person will come along one day and give me a perfect home. Would you like to be my friend? __________________________________________________________________ All animal adoptions are typically $80. Story
Darby tested negative for both FELV and FIV when he was a kitten. After he got adopted, he ran a very high fever and his adopter took him to her veterinarian. He tested FIV POSITIVE then and the vet recommended euthanasia but the adopter and Kathy Carlson said no and Kathy took him home and nursed him back to health. Darby was returned to his adopter but she developed allergies to Darby and returned him to the rescue.   Darby had to have all of his teeth removed due to severe stomatitis. Darby developed DRY/Neurological FIP and started his FIP GS Treatment on February 8, 2023 and finished his GS Treatment on May 2, 2023. Darby was deemed CURED of FIP on July 26, 2023! October 25, 2024, 4:56 pm

Story
Duchess and her 3 kittens were initially fostered by Kathy Carlson. Then in January 2018, Miss Antionette (Toni) Bagaglio fostered Duchess for 5 years until January 2023. Angela Kee Kennedy got a call from Miss Toni’s brother and sister-in-law and was told that Miss Toni’s dementia was quickly getting much worse and that Miss Toni would not be able to return home from the hospital/rehab facility she had been in due to her severe dementia and getting the Corona virus called COVID. So Kathy Carlson and Emily Clark met Miss Toni’s sister-in-law at Miss Toni’s house in Arlington and got Duchess on 1-26-23 and Kathy Carlson was fostering her briefly.    I'm Duchess and I'm ready for the royal treatment with a human of my own!  I was rescued from a shelter when I had three little kittens.  My kittens have all found their forever families, but I'm still waiting for my fairytale to come true.  I would rather be the center of your world and not share you with other cats.  You'll love my ticked tabby coat and my adorable white mittens.  Can we meet and see if its meant to be? My adoption fee includes my spay, vaccinations, FIV/FeLV testing (neg) and my microchip.  I am to be indoors only and declawing is not allowed. My adopters should be local to the Greater Memphis Area.October 25, 2024, 4:56 pm

Story
Willow is a very active and energetic 3 year old kitty who would prefer to be an indoor/outdoor cat. She loves to sun and watch birds outside, but also likes to curl up in a chair in a quite space for her catnaps. She was taken in when her previous owners moved out of state, and unfortunately we have all transitioned from working at home back to the office, and do not have the time to devote to her. She would do best with older children as she does not like to be held, but she loves her pets and likes to sleep near you. Willow comes with a litterbox, toys, and food/water bowls.
