Story
Pepper is a loving, trained and honestly an amazing cat. He acts like a dog sometimes. He will do tricks for his treats. He is an indoor cat only. He knows his name and responds to it. He's not your average cat. He will actually come to you when you call him. We got him from the humane society in Winston-Salem about a year ago but now we are in Whittier and we can not take him where we are moving. everything will come with him. Mesh crate, toys, TONS of cat food. We obviously didn't plan on having to get rid of him but we are in western North Carolina and housing is limited so we have to find him a new home. Once he gets to know you he will even do tricks for you. We also have to big containers of treats to come with him.

Story
Mindy and her brother Mork came to the shelter as Kittens in August of 2014. Mindy can seem shy at first but that does not mean she does not like to be petted. She is usually one of the first cats stare out the window to remind the shelter staff that it is snack time for the cats. She is a quiet cat that would do good in a calm house where her and adopter could spend a lazy afternoon together. Our adoption process: It is our goal to match each animal with the most compatible home, based on their personality and temperament. In order to do this we ask that all potential adopters fill out an adoption interview, as well as talk with a staff member about what they are looking for in a new pet. By doing this we can better match adoptee with an adopter. Resulting in forever homes!

Story
Olivia is a young Torbie (a cross between a Tortoiseshell and a Tabby) around 3 years of age. Her torbie coat gives her the unique look of a tabby with patches and stripes of caramel mixed into it. She can often be found sunning on the shelf of our cat porch or in one of her favorite baskets. Olivia is good with other cats and would do best with a home with another feline friend.
