Story
My next door neighbors feral cat ran inside her house and had 5 kittens about five and a half weeks ago. Last night the mom cat bolted out an open door and abandoned her kittens. They are little and cute but my neighbor doesn’t know how to care for them and is looking for help. She doesn’t have the internet so I told her I would reach out to a few rescues today. Any help would be appreciated.  Email Critter Cavalry Rescue  to help change their life!!!! Ccrtennessee@gmail.com November 3, 2024, 10:10 pm

Story
Persimmon is approximately 1-year-old of April 2023 whose shiny coal-black coat really stands out in a crowd!  He is a sweet-tempered and sensitive type who was scared of his new surroundings at first but within the span of 2-3 weeks, he was all over the house and coming around his foster mom for attention and scratches by his tail.  Lately, he has with the cold weather he has become quite the snuggle bug wanting to lay on his person's lap with his favorite foster sister almost every time she sits down.  He hasn’t been around dogs very much but I believe with a proper introduction of a friendly dog and lots of patience, it should not be a problem.  In addition, he gets along well with other cats both young and adults.  He would certainly enjoy a similar-aged or friendly adult cat to tussle with as he enjoys spirited playtime with his foster siblings, but he also plays independently quite well.  He comes to you litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this dashing young man!August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Bruno is a handsome and approximately 1-year-old (as of April 2023) cat that we all certainly need to talk about!   Not only does he have stunning eyes, a shiny coal-black coat with striking tabby markings underneath.  His body type is very slim and exotic akin to a Siamese.  He is a sweet-tempered soul with a playful personality and loves mealtimes, treats, playing hard, and sleeping on soft blankets or the cat tree.  He is a gentle soul who plays well with other kittens and gets along with adult cats in that he does not tend to pester them.  This boy plays independently quite well, but I think he would certainly enjoy a younger or active adult cat to tussle with if not a cat/kitten around his age. He can be a little shy with strangers and mostly gives his affection to people he trusts.  I believe he will blossom in an environment that will be patient with him.  He comes to you litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this unique boy.August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Luisa is an approximately 1-year-old (as of April 2023) cat who was rescued with her three litter mates snugly tucked in behind a flower box in an unsuspecting family's backyard.  She is short and stout with stunning tabby markings and some gorgeous big eyes!  She hasn’t been around dogs thus far in her life but I don’t think it would be an issue for her.  Not one not to pester a cat that doesn’t want to be bothered, but she adores her adult foster brother and is never far out of his shadow. She likes to be part of the action laying near her people and sleeping on the bed with them most nights but prefers pets on her terms.   I'm sure she would great companion for a lonely singular cat or a person who doesn’t try to push her too much with cuddling.  She comes to you litter box trained, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this gorgeous girl. Email the cat's name and phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com.August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Hi I’m Sam, an approximately 3-year-old adult cat, looking for my purrfect home. After raising my own five kittens, also available for adoption, I’m ready for a home where I can relax and soak up attention of my own. I would love to be the only cat as I do have a more dominant personality. I’ll come to your home litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations. If I sound like the purrfect addition to your home, email rockcityrescue@gmail.com with your name and phone number.August 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Estimated Date of Birth 5/19/2023 Oakley is full of personality! He has an adorable pompom shape on the end of his tail and the pattern of a tree ring in the fur on his side. Oakley enjoys playing but will also give you space. He will not be constantly at your feet and in the middle of your work papers, but he will gladly play when it’s time. He is a bit shy at first but comes out quickly when another braver cat can show him the ropes. Because of this, Oakley would do well in a home with another cat. He is used to dogs in his foster home and is ok with calm dogs. He loves kitten churu treats and toy mice!  Due to an eye issue when he was a very young kitten, his right eye will always appear a little smaller like he's winking at you.  Sibling: Maple Adoption fee: $130. Story
I got Basil (the grey Tabby) about 3 years ago from a farm who really needed the help. I was gone at work all day and I always felt bad leaving him at home alone so I got him a friend named Hazel (the Bengal) they became best friends and haven’t left each others side ever since. I love my cats to death and never thought I’d be looking to regime them but my mother needs me to live with her and she is extremely allergic ):
