Story
Bob the Enchanted Cheesemonger is no ordinary feline—he is a legend wrapped in orange stripes and white fur. A domestic shorthair with the build of a small panther, Bob commands attention with his impressive 21-pound frame and an air of quiet dignity.
Bob is a cat of contradictions. He enjoys affection—but only on his terms. When the mood strikes, he will grace his chosen humans with his presence, allowing them to admire his plush coat and sturdy physique. His purrs rumble like distant thunder, a reward for those he deems worthy of his trust. However, when Bob decides he has had enough, he will make his boundaries crystal clear. A master of communication, he is not afraid to issue a warning glare or an indignant flick of his tail if someone overstays their welcome in his personal space.
Cautious by nature, Bob takes his time assessing new people and situations. He prefers to watch and analyze before making his move, ensuring that any engagement—be it a cuddle session or an exploratory jaunt—is entirely on his terms. Though reserved, he has a soft spot for those who respect his independence, and in turn, he rewards them with moments of warmth and companionship.
True to his name, Bob the Enchanted Cheesemonger carries an air of mystery, as if he holds the secrets of an ancient feline order. Perhaps he once presided over a mystical cheese emporium in a past life, or maybe he simply enjoys the finer things in life. Regardless, Bob is a force to be reckoned with—a beefy, charismatic, and ever-enigmatic cat who thrives in a world where he calls the shots.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
