Story
She's a very shy cat with most people but will be very lovey and clingy with someone she likes as long as nobody else can see lol. She's calm, just likes to hang out and play with toys occasionally. Unfortunately with my son and I being allergic having just moved in with my sister we have decided to re-home her. She deserves more attention and doesn't get it because of my sister's busy schedule and our allergies. She's good with other cats after a while but she doesn't like a lot of energy. She loves dogs, larger preferably but doesn't mind smaller. She loves to cuddle but be warned she drools like crazy when she purrs!. We love her and hate to have to do this but it's better than ignoring her and her being alone.

Story
*reduced fee due to length of time she has been with the rescue* Mirabel is super sweet and loving on her terms. So your typical calico! Mirabel wants attention and to be pet but does not like to be smothered. She loves to play with toys and bat them around the room. She has always done great with kittens and has learned to tolerate other adult cats in the house. It just takes her time to adjust. She also does well with low energy dogs that would not want to pester her. Good with older children familiar with proper cat handling. Not a cat for younger children since she does not always want attention and to be pet. She loves to bring you socks while you are sleeping!  ##1458441##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Pelion, SC (current foster home) or West Columbia, SC Name: Raven Age: 12 to 13 years but doesn’t act her age (acts younger) Breed: DSH Solid Black M/F: F Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies & fvrcp, spayed Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: all of the above! Aggression or medical issues?: none that we are aware of Reason for rehoming?: from a hoarding situation Additional info/story (personality): Very friendly, sweet, and loves attention. Came from a really bad situation and amazingly warmed up to her new wonderful life extremely fast. Now she just needs her forever home to spend it the rest of her years with. She is definitely a kitty I expect to live to be another 5-10 years at least as she just doesn’t look or act her age in the slightest. *gross cage pic is from her original situation and solely included for you to see her features better since my camera quality is better than the foster’s camera* Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required

They were raised inside from birth but adopted their mom’s personality who simply is just more introverted. He is fine with getting pets and scritches and he likes playing with toys and other cats, just not the biggest fan of being held, and takes a bit to come out of his shell. Story
Location: Lexington, SC Name: Sophie Age: 11 weeks (DOB: 8/2/24) Breed: DSH - Tabico M/F: female Spayed/Neutered/Shots: has had first round of fvrcp and has been dewormed; getting 2nd round and dewormed again this friday (12 weeks) Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: have been fine with everyone they’ve met so far Reason for rehoming?: last female of the colony finally trapped after she brought us a litter of kittens… this is the last of that litter Would you like rescue help?: no - already with one Additional info/story (personality): Is the most bold and adventurous out of her group. Fine being held and don’t hiss or claw or anything like that. Eating dry food but wet food is their weakness and what has got them extra loving with me now. Of course like playing with toys and climbing. Would most likely do better with other cats rather than by herself as she has been extra noisy/disruptive since her siblings left. Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Lexington, SC Name: Buster Age: ~3 years Breed: DSH - Solid Orange - 11.5 lbs M/F: M Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies & FVRCP; neutered; microchipped Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: good with others dogs; would not recommend him around smaller children; can dog test upon request Aggression or medical issues?: no known medical - watch video for “aggression” Reason for rehoming?: TNR cat that about broke my trap after he was caught. Got him fixed and put him in holding to recover a couple days only to discover he was friendly and trying to rub all over me. Figured I would give him a chance to find a home before releasing him back House/crate trained?: litter trained Additional info/story (personality): He is an ORANGE CAT. He meets the orange cat definition beginning to end. Sometimes when I walk up to him he will hiss at me then shove his hand in my head for me to pet him. Then when I stop petting him he will grab my hand with his paws/claws and pull me back in. Then sometimes mid pet he will nibble on me to tell me he is extra happy. He also actually uses the cat wheel when I direct him on it. Has 0 idea what to do with toys. Now granted, he is freshly neutered so there is still time for him to settle… but as of right now he definitely has a big demanding personality. But, he is also a huge big friendly love bug. Oh also, very talkative. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment.
