Story
Meet Waffles 🧇💛 Reason for rehoming: Looking for a safe, peaceful, loving home for my sweet adult cat. She would thrive best in a quiet environment with no other animals. She is not happy in our home with our dog, we’ve had to keep them separate and it’s not fair to her. She’s very sweet, will give cuddles but most of the time likes to be left alone in a cozy spot or in the sun. She eats dry food, wet food as an occasional treat. She is prissy and prefers to drink from running water, we have a water fountain that can go with her. Needs a scratching post or pad. She has only ever lived indoors with the exception of a sun room/screened in porch which she thrived in. This decision is very difficult, I just want her to be happy and stress free. 🤍

Story
We adopted Coal from Petsmart (Dorchester Paws) on Aug 4th. He was born on May 27th, 2024. He was neutered before we adopted him. He is about 5lbs now. Coal is super sweet and is litter box trained. He is a lover and gets along well with my 11 year old son and our 9 year old Long Haired Chihuahua. He snuggles all of the time, and love his play time. We travel a lot so I hate to leave him alone. He will come with two large cat towers, if you want them and four litter boxes. We were using pine pellet litter, but have switched to clumping. He seems to prefer that better. He has all of his shots with Oakbrook Vet.

Story
Hi, this is Gracie, she was left to me by someone who used to be a friend of mine when she moved back to Arizona, unfortunately she was unable to take her due to the move in 2022 (which is also the year Gracie was born in the month of June) and asked if I could keep her so she would be loved and safe. My friend left state at the last minute because the father of her child was abusive so unfortunately Gracie was also abused by him, she is afraid of anyone holding a hat she runs and hides. Luckily she has overcome that and become a social cat who loves to be around people. She has helped foster kittens with us and has a very sweet nature and absolutely adores cuddles. She loves to play in the shower and any kind of water. She has strictly been indoor since she has lived with me but before was able to go between inside and out. She adores toys her favorite is a little mouse, and her kitty perch. This year I became a mom and have not be able to spend as much time with her as she deserves.

Story
15 yr. old, male, front declawed, solid gray with white mustache and goatee, 12 lbs Good with older kids, or with a dog that wouldn't bother him. Would prefer to be the only cat. After 14 years, Smokey's family can no longer care for him after his diagnosis of hypertension. Smokey craves attention and would love to have a retirement home in which he can cuddle all day with his human and give little kiss-licks. He doesn't mind being held like a baby and is the perfect Netflix and chill companion! He can show a bit of grumpy-old-man syndrome, so will need a cat-savvy family with no small children. He does like to stay underfoot, so would not be good for unstable humans. He is now on medication and takes his daily pill with no fuss. Bloodwork is normal. The only side-effect of his condition is his constant (and adorable) dilated pupils. He is spry, alert, has a healthy appetite, and has the most luxurious fur! With monitoring, Smoky should live several more happy years as the best lovebug cat! If the cat is under the age of 9 months old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $110. covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Scamp is a bundle of energy. Fun to watch and he will wrestle with other cats and dogs. He loves the interaction and antics. That will entertain him for hours. He is about four months old (as of August 2023). Good with children, dogs, and other cats.
