Story
🎂 Age: 1 year, 8 months🐱 Breed: Independent CatPersonality: Elegantly AloofWht & Blk DSHAdoption Fee: $25Adoptable NowLouisa was semi-feral when she came in and takes a while to warm up to you. She has been one of our favorite challenges. Every time we get to pet her, hold her, love her, it's all a reward that she treats us with. At one point we would have to go outside everyday to put eyes on her, now, she sleeps inside more often than not! We have had her about a year and a half and she gets along with all the other cats and loves to be inside/outside in our cat room. Once she accepts you, she will purr while you pet her, she will make sure she gets all the pets she can. Louisa would be a great barn cat, as being outdoors doesn't bother her. Just be sure to give her acknowledgement for all her hard work! All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention. Open hours are 12PM - 4PM Tuesday -Friday and 12PM-3PM on Saturdays or by appointment. We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required. We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays. All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Sometimes things change and an adoption may fall through so we maintain a wait list.APPLY HERE: https://form.jotform.com/202887123155152

PeepsMale Black DSHDOB: 11/15/2023Adoption Fee: $25Adoptable NowPeeps came to us the Saturday before Easter after his home was destroyed by fallen trees. He and his siblings could not go to the shelter with their owners so they were brought to us. Peeps will peep on you, to size you up and then...ATTACK for some cuddles of course! He asks that you respect his boundaries, He doesn't care for being picked up, but that doesn't mean he doesn't need/want your affection. CarrotMale Orange & White Tabby DSHDOB: 11/15/2023Adoption Fee: $25Adoptable NowCarrot was brought to us the Saturday before Easter after his home was destroyed by fallen trees. He and his siblings were not allowed at the shelter the owners had to go to, so they were brought to us. Carrot was very shy and hesitant when he was brought to us, but we are happy to say that he has became quite a loving boy since. He went from staying outside in the cat yard, to coming to greet us and request pets when he hears us enter the room. All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Obi-WanMale Black & White DSHDOB: 02/22/2024Adoption Fee: $50He is the Jedi-Master! He has all the moves! You can see him in action in our Happy Cat room.
