Story
Envy has been my little buddy for 5 years now since she was a teenie kitten. I'm putting here up for a rehome as the place im moving to won't be able to fit her as it has cats and isn't roomy enough for her. Envy doesn't get along with any other animals which is why she can't come with me to the new place. She will hide from them and if they try to follow her she will hiss at them, she can be a very sweet cat I just believe that she would be way better in a place with no other animals around where she won't be so stressed from them. Once she's gotten used to you she will let you pet her and she with lay with you like a normal cat it's just she will need alot of time to know you as she is a very anxious cat. she has recently started to pee on the bed and on other fabric items on the floor but I do believe it's from the stress and if in a calmer environment with someone who knows cats it wouldn't happen anymore.Shes had all her shots awhile back and Is spayed. Please reach out. :)

Story
Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home.  Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR.  We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone.  Our job is to find those someone's.  Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog.  They come to us because they want to give a dog a home.  We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture.  While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face.  Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home.  We want to create furever families.  Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today.  We'll update as more information is known.  Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days?  If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application.  You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side.  You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available.  Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes?  Please drop a note to applications@carolinapoodlerescue.org with your name, address and phone # and email.  We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team   NOTE THIS ENTRY MAY NEED WORKDate into Rescue: 6/26/2023 Reason for being in rescue: stray Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Mello is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and FIV negative. Weight: 10 lbs Height: 12 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $99 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? For this orange and white Mello cat any home would work. However, this friendly dude is an INDOOR ONLY cat. If he's inside Mello is cool. He lives indoors here with two other cats, and he enjoys their company and play time with them. So, another cat in the house would most likely work for him. Mello would fit splendidly into an apartment home. Provide him with some toys if you must leave him ad he'll do fine. Mello would do wonderfully in a home with children who would love on him and play with him. What is my personality like? Mello is totally chill yet friendly, playful and affectionate as well. Mellow is a superb name for this guy. Nothing seems to ruffle his fur. He's good with cats and dogs, but a human lap to lounge in would be perfect for him. If you can't use your lap you will probably find him on a couch, chair, or rocking chair soaking up the sun and catching some zzzz's. He plays well with the other cats here and we are sure he will be a playful companion with his adopter. Mello will at times, lick you like a dog does which is kind of weird feeling that rough tongue go over your skin. Also, don't be surprised if he uses the legs of jeans as a scratching post. Tip to this laid-back yet affectionate guy's adopter, a scratching post or pad is a necessity. He will meow at you when he wants your attention if you are ignoring him. How do I act when I first meet new people? Many cats are aloof and standoffish. Not Mello. He will approach you for pets and ear rubs.  Other tips and tidbits: Mello was found as a stray so we have absolutely no history on this wonderful boy. Based on his overall health and condition we celebrate his birthday 06/26/2022. House trained? Mello is litter box trained. Please note - we do not ship dogs.  If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip.  Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina.   To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home.   You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc.  Others here may be a better fit for you.  It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description.  Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a  dog not in our listings yet.  We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR. November 5, 2024, 5:31 pm

They had placed Lorelei as a kitten but the chip was never registered by the new owners. That owner declined to reply back to the humane society calls so the HS asked us to take over her care Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs?  None noted although she definitely wants more than one lap Weight: 6.19 lbs and a tiny bit underweight but we are working on that Height: 7 in estimated only at the shoulder Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $99 Fence needed? No, Lorelei is an indoor only cat. What kind of home would be best for me? Lorelei is a Tortoiseshell beauty looking for a home where she can be the center of attention and your entire world. She was found as a stray and brought to the farm where she is adapting quite well. This little girl will adapt to both apartment and house living, provided she's kept indoors. Lorelei would do best as an only pet because she does not get along well with other cats and dogs. The simple reason for this is that Lorelei simply does not want to share her beloved human with anyone else.  She does not fight other animals.  She is a lover. But she has no use for them.  The thing she love the most, well aside from food, is curling up in your lap and basking in your love and affection. What is my personality like? Lorelei is loving and affectionate, a true lap cat. The caveat with her is she demands to have all your attention and love so she would do best as an only pet. She is afraid of the other cats here and runs from the dogs. She hides from both. When you meet Lorelei you might think the old Styx song was written about her because she's "as gentle as a butterfly, she moves without a sound." That's not to say Lorelei doesn't make her feelings known. She will meow at you for pets, and food, as well as approaching you seemingly meowing a story or providing a recap of her day to you. If you are looking for a feline companion that will always be there, well you'll never be alone with Lorelei because "she brightens every lonely night, no one's quite the same," When you meet her Lorelei's enchanting ways will melt your heart and you will echo Styx when they sing, "Lorelei lets live together." This little lovable beauty is the purrfect match for any cat lover. How do I act when I first meet new people? Lorelei will meow a hello and quickly brush up against your legs, or if you are sitting on the floor or in a chair, she will hop into your lap and soak up all the love you can provide her. Other tips and tidbits: We estimate Lorelei's birth date to be on or about 5/14/2021. House trained? Lorelei makes use of her litterbox. Story
Chief was born in the spring of 2019 and has grown into an 11 pound big boy. He is super affectionate and loves nothing better than snuggling. He gets along well with other confident cats, but can be a bit of a tease to shyer kitties. He does have a best buddy in foster care and they are all about the play. He also has an autoimmune disorder known as stomatitis. All of his teeth have been surgically removed to prevent the oral inflammation it causes and since that time, he has had no further issues with it. He enjoys both canned and dry foods, but does better with a food for sensitive tummies. He can seriously make a toy out of anything. He has been neutered, microchipped & is up to date on vaccinations.

Story
Obie is a bouncy precocious girl that is 9 weeks old (as of 11/2/24) and ready to find her forever family. From a perilous start to life found orphaned post Helene she has blossomed into a confident and sweet girl. Obie loves chasing toys, exploring new places, enticing other cats to play, and being part of the daily activities. She is a girl on the move but once she's tired, she is a bundle of purrs and loves being held. She would be a fantastic fit for a house with playful cats or someone who wants an interactive companion. She has exposure to a calm small dog and meeting new people. critterconnectionspartanburg@gmail.com

Story
Meet Sage...he is so FLUFFYYY! and Sprout...the lil runt with perfect eyeliner. Brothers, born 8/29/24. We took in a feral mama without realizing she was pregnant and now we have kittens to rehome. Both very sweet, have been around small dogs and older children. They come litter box trained, use scratching posts, fully vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and healthy. They will need to be indoor only cats. They love cat tv on YouTube, watching birds in the bird bath and feeders outside, cuddling in hammocks and their giant cat tree by the window. They are spoiled rotten and loved to death. $55 rehoming fee for both to good home. Must go together as they are bonded. Will be ready the week of Thanksgiving. They are almost 10 weeks old now and will be 12-13 weeks when ready. Please only adopt them if you are going to be their forever home. Would love to hear how you would be the perfect family and a little about your home life. Going to be so hard to let these angels go!
