Story
Vi is a 3-year-old, female domestic shorthair cat. She has a brother, Zen, who is also listed on this site. They are a bonded pair and need to be rehomed together. Vi and her brother are being rehomed because they have not been getting along with our dogs and we're getting more concerned about everyone's safety. We introduced Vi and Zen to the dogs when they were still kittens, and everybody got along during the first year or so. But as the cats got older, the dogs have been getting more stressed out around them. More resource guarding between them. Etc. It's been three years now and things still aren't improving between all the animals as we'd hoped, so we think the best and safest option would be to find a dog-free home for the cats Vi is a very cuddly, affectionate cat around people she's used to. She would be a great lap cat if you're looking for a pet who will greet you every morning and hang out with you around the house. She likes to play with small mice toys and chase things.

Zen is a 3-year-old, male domestic shorthair cat. He has a sister, Vi, who is also listed on this site. They are a bonded pair and need to be rehomed together. Zen and his sister are being rehomed because they have not been getting along with our dogs and we're getting more concerned about everyone's safety. We introduced Vi and Zen to the dogs when they were still kittens, and everybody got along during the first year or so. It's been three years now and things still aren't improving Zen is shy and will often hide when new people are around. But once he feels settled in, he likes to hang out on the sofa and "make biscuits" on anything soft nearby. He's not as vocal as his sister and doesn't play with toys too often. He prefers to hunt for insects around the house. He's bigger than his sister and does bully her sometimes.

Marty is approximately two years young and came from a growing colony with limited food and shelter. He was so hungry he squeezed himself into a tiny kitten trap to get food. He is a gentle loving soul, loves attention, playing with dangle toys and likes to watch the birds on TV! Since Marty came into foster care he has become very bonded with Barbie a beautiful dilute calico approx 1 year old. We feel now he would do best adopted along with his new girlfriend. *Olivia and Opey* Hello, I'm Olivia. I'm a little shy but warm up quickly once I know you. I have a sister, Opey. We're inseparable, two peas in a pod. We love playing with laser lights. It's our favorite game! We chase the red dot around, taking turns in our pursuit. It's the most fun when we both try to catch it at the same time! Life here is okay, but I dream of a home where Opey and I can play, nap, and be loved every day. Adopting us means twice the love, twice the joy, and a bond that will warm your heart. We can't wait to meet you! Please adopt us!

Story
Omlet was originally part of a Trap Neuter Return project a few years ago.   We were contacted by a Good Samaritan who observed that Omlet had a badly infected foot. Turns out she had netting caught in her foot and had to have two toes amputated. While in surgery recovery Omlet became very friendly with her caregiver so we determined she should not be returned to her colony. Over time she is still making progress in becoming a confident affectionate cat. She may however need time and patience to adjust into a new environment. Omlet does well with other cats but no dogs please.     12691DH Like what you see? Story
Meet Cheeks, the charming 4-year-old kitty who's been eagerly awaiting his purr-fect forever home for over a year and a half. This big-hearted boy was rescued from a barn in East Greenville, where he simply appeared one day. Cheeks is not just your ordinary feline; he's a delightful and lovable oaf who adores snuggling on laps, seeking endless pets, and showering affection. Imagine the sheer satisfaction of having Cheeks perched on the back of your sofa, purring softly as you enjoy your favorite TV shows together. His playful side emerges when he engages in spirited exercises, chasing laser dots and spinning plastic balls in his mini tower toy. Despite being FIV positive, Cheeks doesn't let anything dampen his spirits. He does prefer to be the solo star in the household, relishing all the attention and love he can get. If you're looking for a one-and-only furry friend to share your heart and home, Cheeks is eagerly waiting to meet you at his foster home in East Greenville. Get ready for lap snuggles, gentle purrs, and a lifetime of heartwarming moments with this adorable and fuzzy companion! Adopt Cheeks and let the love-filled journey begin! Like what you see? Story
My name is Shell-Lee! I'm a little like that teapot they sing about - Short and Stout! But when I was rescued, I was starving, homeless and pregnant, scavenging out of a dumpster at a Shell station just trying to stay alive. It was my lucky day when a vet tech came to the station and noticed me. She found out I had been living out of the dumpster for some time and felt sorry for me. Hey, I know a good thing when I see it. I walked right into her carrier, dreaming of a brand-new life of food and warmth and love and a safe place for my babies. And all my dreams came true. My babies were healthy and adopted into good homes. Now I am just an empty nester looking for other empty nesters who want some feline companionship. I'd do best in a quiet home with cat savvy people, but no dogs. With proper introduction, I'm sure to get along with other cats as I live with other cats in my foster home. My estimated date of birth is March of 2019 and I'm in very good health. At mealtime I do love to rub against my foster mom and turn my gorgeous green eyes on her to put her under my spell. I do some kneading when I am content. I'm perfect with the litter box. I enjoy both canned and dry food. And I love being brushed. Why don't you fill out the application and come visit me? 11427GC Like what you see?
