Dillinger is a sweet young man around 4 years old who is ready to find his furever home. He was brought to the shelter as a stray in early April and upon intake tested positive for FIV. Dillinger would be much safer as the only cat in the home or with other cats with FIV. This sweet boy just loves attention, and he will purr very loud to show you that he enjoys it. He loves to walk through your legs and under your hands, pushing every part of his body against yours in hopes he will get pet, scratched or just loved up on in any way. Dillinger makes very expressive faces, like sticking out his tongue! He also has the most perfect placement of the black and white coloring all around his body that give him a very special look. His eyes are very bright and bold yellow-green and with his signature left ear tip, Dillinger is a very unique looking boy! Meet Kitty! Kitty was surrendered to HSCC in early May in hopes of a better life. Kitty is a sweet girl who has really come out of her shell. She was very shy at one point and would hide in the back of her kennel. Slowly but surely, she continues to warm up to people day after day. Unfortunately, Kitty is not a big fan of other cats. She would most likely be her best self in a home with just her humans, where she can get all the love and attention she deserves. This girl is a perfect mix of playful cat and lazy cat all in one. She is still getting used to being picked up, but she will soak up all the attention from the floor or a couch. Valerie is a beautiful girl around 2 years old. She was brought into the shelter in early April and was pregnant at the time. Roughly a week later, Valerie gave birth to our feisty and fun Vienna. Valerie is good with people and doesn't seem to mind other cats. She will be dog-tested in the near future. Valerie enjoys human attention. She will let you hold her for a short period of time and then likes to jump down and go explore some more. Valerie would make a purr-fect addition to anyone's household.

Theodore was brought to us along with his littermate, Elenore, when their mother was tragically struck by a vehicle along the road. They were approximately 6-8 weeks old. He is now a gorgeous young man with a lot of energy. He is a bit timid at first but warms up quickly. He is UTD on shots, wormed, and neutered. He is ready for his furever home..... could it be yours?

Elenore is a stunning all gray sweetheart who loves to be cuddled and will purr all day long. She is very curious and loves to play in a tunnel and with her play mice. Meet Simon! This guy is a very special little man. He came to us at approximately 3 weeks old when a good Samaritan found him in the middle of a busy road. We bottle fed him and he is the sweetest little boy ever! If you are looking for a cuddle bug and a new best friend, Simon is the one you have been searching for. He is UTD on shots, dewormed, and neutered.

Meet Bingo! Bingo was brought to the shelter in July 2020. He was part of a humane surrender along with many other cats, at no fault of their own of course. Although Bingo was being housed inside, he was in no way domesticated. So, when he was brought to ICHS he was not a big fan of the change and he was not a big fan of our shelter staff. Eventually, Bingo was moved to our colony room where he was able to roam free with other cats. Bingo preferred this over being in a cage as he did not have to have that close human interaction daily anymore. Now he had space to run away and towers to climb up on if he was feeling uncomfortable. And while Bingo ran away and hissed for a while something in him was changing with every positive human interaction. Magic was happening! Fast forward to last year, and we have had an amazing group of volunteers who specifically work with socializing our colony cats, including Bingo. This guy has made huge milestones. A cat who could never be touched and who no one could get near is now a cat who loves to play with the wand toy, sniffs people's hands, lets you hang out around him, poses for close-up pictures, and...even allows you to very slowly brush him! We are so proud of how far he has come and how he continues to do better every day. We are also so thankful for the work that our volunteers and shelter staff have put into socializing him!While he may not be your lap cat at first, with time as he learns to trust you Bingo is bound to be your most loyal best friend. A cat with a history like him bonds so deeply to those he can trust. We would assume, that with A LOT of patience, Bingo will come around to the idea of having a human best friend more so than he already has. Or perhaps you are a person who just isn't home a lot and you feel badly for leaving your cat alone for long periods of time. Bingo is without a doubt your guy! There is not a single cat that doesn't love Bingo. Every scared and anxious cat can find comfort in this big fella. He even has an immense amount of patience for kittens and helps teach them the ropes of cat life. Meet Spaghetti! Spaghetti was brought to ICHS along with many other cats, at no fault of their own of course. This silly boy can be the life of our Cat Colony. Spaghetti loves to run, play with wand toys, and get crazy off the catnip. This handsome guy does so well with other cats that he would probably prefer a home with another cat if possible! He seems to love playing and snuggling with every cat in our colony room. Spaghetti can be a little timid when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for him to warm up. Meet Pinto! Pinto was brought to ICHS as a stray. He is still learning to trust the shelter staff and volunteers, but he is making progress every day. While he may hide and even hiss, Pinto is a very sweet and gentle cat. He is just a scared boy! Pinto loves head pets and receiving treats from our staff. He even enjoys playing with wand toys! When our staff isn't hanging out and socializing with Pinto, you can find this cute boy curled up taking long cat naps in his box. These boys are super sweet and friendly, I just work too much and they keep me up a lot. 2 litter boxes and any supplies can be included if you want. I'll pay you to take them. Looking to rehome them ASAP. Please share as well.
