Story
Meet a sweet bonded young adult pair of males whose personalities complement each other beautifully. Both WINSTON and ARTHUR are short-haired brown male tabbies. Of the two boys, Winston is the more outgoing and vocal, and seeks out any and all attention you’d like to lavish on him. Winston’s friendly and confident nature is helpful to Arthur (nicknamed JACK-JACK), who may initially be shy and cautious, but is just as affectionate and loving once he grows accustomed to a new home. Arthur enjoys getting up on his hind legs to seek the nearest human hand for pets. Winston and Arthur were surrendered to CRAN after their owner passed away. Now they are ready for a forever home together, where they can enjoy human attention and love as well as depend on each other for playtime and companionship. They will do well in a home which appreciates both of their personalities and will enjoy the affection and love of a perfect pair. WINSTON and ARTHUR have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and are negative for FeLV and FIV. Their adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with one of our vet partners.  To meet WINSTON and ARTHUR in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart.  A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet.   The $280 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to Adoptioninfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID 2505-C0140 & 2505-CO141. Story
Say hello to ASPEN! Aspen is a sleek, solid black female teenager kitty. Her tail is slightly shorter than usual, a trait she received from her mother. Aspen is a sweet girl who loves head scratches and pets. She is not a fan of being held, but she is happy to hang out and receive all the love you are willing to give. Aspen and her 6 siblings were born in their foster home and raised alongside older kids, dogs, and fellow cats. Aspen is shy at first and is still uncertain about the kids, but she’s content to snuggle, nap, and play with a friendly pup. When she warms up to her human, she will reach out with her paw to let them know she isn’t being paid sufficient attention. With the right loving and patient family, Aspen is certain to blossom in her perfect forever home! Aspen would love to be adopted with one of her siblings. Aspen has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Aspen in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. Story
GRONK needs a very special adopter because he’s not your average cat. In fact, he doesn’t consider himself to be a cat at all! Even though he has a weakness for treats (don’t we all?) and will chase toys around the room, he considers himself your equal (maybe a little MORE than equal, to be honest). He prefers your company to any other, and does not like other cats or dogs. He wants to be your one and only because, well, he deserves it. So if you need a supervisor while you’re working or doing just about anything, Gronk is your guy. He’s currently surrounded by other felines where he’s staying and is not at all pleased by this, so he’s looking for an adopter (or even possibly a foster to start out with) that has no other animal companions and who wants to hang out with a confident, opinionated, thoroughly entertaining DUDE. Please help Gronk find a worthy companion – either an adopter or a foster home! Gronk has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Gronk in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 3 to 5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to help other cats in need. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. Meet Lionel  SARGE (L) ********SARGE IS A SPECIAL NEEDS CAT********* and LIONEL (R) are a pair of bonded brown tabby male kitties that make the cutest odd couple; Lionel is an energetic young adult who loves to run around and chase toys and strings, and Sarge is his sweet "big brother" who loves to hang out and cuddle with Lionel. They are both highly social, loving, and outgoing, and are so much fun to have around. Lionel is bouncy, funny, and entertaining, and Sarge is a bundle of love and affection - a gentle giant who likes everyone he meets (other cats, dogs, and people). Sarge is diabetic and requires insulin twice a day, and has some other chronic health conditions--but he is easy to care for. Sarge's foster parents will help guide his new family on his medical care. He is also on a prescription diet for one of his two daily meals. Both cats are good with dogs and gentle kids, but this bonded pair will do best as the only cats in the household. Sarge and Lionel will bring tremendous joy to their new forever home! SARGE and LIONEL have both been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet them in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The adoption fee for the pair is $185, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Looking for double the love? And double the charm? Meet a sweet bonded adult pair whose personalities are beautifully balanced. JUPITER is a big handsome short haired tuxedo with an equally big heart. Outgoing and brave, Jupiter is the “official greeter” of the household and loves to soak up attention. He is outgoing and affectionate, and loves to play with string toys. Jupiter’s friendly and confident nature makes him a wonderful companion for FLOWER, who is a solid grey short haired female. Flower is a gentle soul. Shy and cautious at first, she takes her cues from Jupiter and will soon be coming over for her turn at affection and playtime. Flower loves her cardboard scratcher. She also loves cuddling up with Jupiter in a comfy cat bed. They share a love of cat treats. Jupiter and Flower are inseparable – they eat and nap together, and depend on each other for safety and companionship. They are seeking a calm and patient home where Flower can blossom at her own pace and where they can both enjoy the security of a home of their own. Story
BEAU and MAMACITA are a marvelous mother and son bonded pair of kitties looking for a loving home.  Mamacita has a beautiful mix of calico and tabby markings, while Beau is white with orange tabby spots (a cow kitty).  They are fond of Churu treats and adore a front row seat for Cat TV (aka, a window to look out of).  Beau also loves little toys that he can throw around and chase.  Mamacita came to CRAN as a rescue with a litter of kittens, and with Beau, her oldest baby from a previous litter.  All her other kittens have found homes, and now it’s this pair's turn to find a devoted home to enjoy some rest and relaxation.  Mamacita and Beau are both still shy and need an adopter who is willing to create a quiet and safe space for them to acclimate to their new home and get their bearings.  Both are very sweet, and it will be so worthwhile to give them some time to adjust to their surroundings.  They will reward you in spades with their sweet faces and affection! Mamacita and Beau have been altered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Mamacita and Beau in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. Story
ALFALFA and DARLA are a handsome and charming sibling pair who are affectionate and sweet, and also full of kitten energy and antics. Alfalfa (aka “Ralph”) is a short haired light brown tabby with a white chest and chin. His sister Darla is a petite short haired brown tabby with a black stripe from her neck to her tail. Both share beautiful golden eyes and a distinctive “M” mark on their foreheads. These easy going siblings are affectionate and fearless. Bonded from birth, they will likely adapt quickly to a new environment, especially as they have each other to rely on. Alfalfa and Darla were found as very young kittens, rescued and bottle fed by a CRAN volunteer and then fostered in a loving home. Socialized to human companionship, they are both very affectionate and love to snuggle. They both get along well with other cats but are each other’s favorite companions and playmates. Alfalfa and Darla are curious and smart. Neither shows any interest in escaping or darting out of doors. While they are active and playful -- Darla even knows how to play fetch! - they also settle down nicely for pets, laps, naps and bedtime. They are perfect for anyone looking for an infusion of laughter and joy to their household. This adorable pair is looking for a home that they can call their own forever. ALFALFA and DARLA have been neutered and spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and are negative for FeLV and FIV. Their adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. The $320 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Meet Bubbles BUBBLES is a black and white "cow" female teenager. SQUIRT is an elegant black panther female teenager, with a small white tuft on her chest. Together, they make an adorable pair. They are seeking a loving forever home, together. Could that home be yours? Both are affectionate, warm, and loving. Squirt is petite in size but makes up for it with her big personality and attention seeking behaviors. Bubbles is loving and sweet, with a communicative little face and an interesting "voice". Both kitties will be a bit skittish initially, but they will gain confidence as they acclimate to a new home. Bubbles and Squirt will appreciate a safe hiding space from which they will emerge to seek out affection and love when the time is right. They both love to play, both with each other and with small toys. Bubbles and Squirt were surrendered to CRAN because of an accidental litter. They are bonded and must be adopted together. Bubbles and Squirt have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV. Their adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. Story
BoopCatt is a sleek, black, 2-year-old boy cat with a curious spirit and the softest, most trusting eyes you’ve ever seen. He’s part panther, part marshmallow. He loves leaping from perch to perch like a tiny house dragon on a noble quest searching for treats and adventure. His favorite game? Chasing a string toy with laser focus and kitten-like enthusiasm! When he's done showing off his moves, he’s all about head butts, chin scratches, and soaking up your attention like a little sponge. BoopCatt is looking to share these moments with a forever family who appreciates both playtime and quiet cuddles. He gets along well with other cats as long as they’re kind and play by the rules since he’s not one for roughhousing or drama. BoopCatt prefers a calm, stable home where he can feel safe. Loud noises and chaos? No thanks. But gentle children who understand how to treat a kitty with respect? He’d be open to that kind of friendship. BoopCatt came to CRAN after being abandoned at a local vet hospital with an infection his previous owners couldn't manage. Thanks to good care and his strong spirit, he recovered but he does need to stay on a prescription diet to keep him healthy and thriving. This sweet, soulful boy has been through a lot, but he hasn't lost his capacity to love. He just needs the right person or family to give him the second chance he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion who will reward your love with purrs, soft headbutts, and the occasional zoomie, BoopCatt is your guy.
