Story
We think Sally was born around 2017. Meet Sally! This friendly, confident girl excels at her job as an assistant to her foster mom. From following her from room to room, to sitting by her for hours, contentedly gazing out the window, to asking for more ear rubs, she’s a fabulous coworker. Did someone say perfect? Sally doesn’t travel solo. Her constant companion is the ruggedly handsome Penn. Sally and Penn are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Sally does have one firm requirement: no dogs, please! She was once attacked by a dog and prefers to avoid them. In her spare time, Sally enjoys playing with her collection of catnip mice, cuddling with the other foster cats, and deep philosophical discussions with her bestie Penn. We were notified by a good Samaritan that Sally & Penn were left behind when their owners were evicted. Our hearts went out to these senior kitties. We did have these two fully vetted - they even had a full dental. They tested negative on their FIV/FELV tests. What do you say? Are you ready to welcome these loving cats into your home? Fill out that application today. As it states below, application required and we do deliver kitties to their new homes. DOB 12/28/23 Jäger is a handsome, playful big boy! He is the largest of his littermates. He likes attention on his terms, like a typical cat. He and his brother (Flint) love to wrestle and watch birds from the windows. He's a brave boy, and doesn't usually hide from company. He likes to be out and about in the house, and it's rare that he can't be found without looking under beds. He enjoys chasing lasers and has a healthy appetite! He (and his brother, Flint) would do best in a home with gentle children over the age of 5. If you're looking for a couple of good guys, these handsome boys are for you! -$125 adoption fee per kitten. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs.  One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. Story
DOB 5/1/23 What’s a girl to do when she finds herself living on the streets and pregnant? Why, do your best to be taken in by a cat rescue, of course. Grace was a doting momma, and now that her babies are ready for homes of their own, so is Grace. Grace is an affectionate, low maintenance cat. She wants to be in the same room as her human and loves pets, but is equally good at entertaining herself. Her hobbies include collecting cat toys and playing with her kittens. Going to a new home with one of them would be purrrfect! Grace does have some pesky postpartum weight and hopes her new family will help her lose those extra inches. Does Grace sound like the perfect addition to your family? Ask to meet this sweet girl now! $100 adoption fee per adult cat. Story
Tera is a beautiful 2-year-old orange and white domestic shorthair with a unique and vibrant personality. She may seem a bit "psycho" when you first meet her, but don't let that deter you. Tera simply needs time to trust and decompress in a new environment. Once she feels safe and secure, she transforms into the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. Tera thrives best in a home without children where she can have the peace and quiet she needs to feel comfortable. While she is tolerant of other animals, Tera would really love to be the queen of her castle and have all your attention to herself. One of Tera's favorite things is finding cozy spots to lounge and observe her kingdom. She's got a knack for making you laugh with her quirky antics and will reward your patience with endless affection. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to show her true loving nature, Tera might be the perfect match for you! ##2034542##

Story
Maverick is our very special sweet boy who deserves all the love in the world!  He's very laid back and will sit with you for hours watching movies and wants to be near you.   Maverick is a speicial needs boy with severe CH (also known as wobbly cat syndrome).   Here is a link where you can find more info on CH:  https://www.thenoahcenter.org/2022/09/28/the-truth-about-ch-cats/ Maverick is about 4 years old and along with having CH, he is missing several teeth and has a front "snaggle tooth"- but is healthy!     He's neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and has had base line bloodwork upon joining the rescue all of which was completely normal.     He does have  tremors that are common with CH and also a pretty severe head bobble - so drinking water is difficult and he eats wet food and sometimes dry kibble mixed in water in raised bowl.     He was raised by a family who loved him very much but just didn't have the time to continue caring for him.   He uses a litter box but because of his severity and wobbles, he needs help getting in and out and will lay down to do his stuff.    He is on a schedule though and will go in the litter box when you put him in the box on a schedule.    Maverick has lived with big dogs and other cats in his foster home, but he mostly loves just being with his person.   If you have had a CH cat previously, then. you know how much love they provide and what a joy they are to care for.    With Maverick's severity level, he does need someone who has experience with CH and is aware of what they require.  If you are interested in Maverick, please provide a few sentences on why you want to adopt Maverick and how you are prepared for him.   ##2000741##

Meet Buddy! He is a young charming boy who is aways there to greet you, loves sitting on laps, and is quite vocal. He’s very playful and silly with his toys. He would thrive with another young cat to play with.  Buddy is also FIV+, but please do not let this deter you from adopting! FIV is not easily spread. It is spread through very deep puncture wounds from an aggressive bite and not through any kind of casual contact. Buddy is absolutely NOT a fighter and would be great in any home. He would LOVE to have a feline playmate!  ##2129788##

Story
Red is a special kitten who LOVES other cats but really doesn't trust people very much.   We worked wtih him as a kitten and held and handled him daily and while his siblings, Spock and Cali both warmed up immensely - Red has a personality that is just skittish and a bit afraid.  He is NOT aggressive, at all and will not scratch, bite or hiss - but he will run and hide and spends most days in his foster home's catio.  If you are a home without small children (he would be scared) but have a quiet home with a cat or kitty needing a friend - he would be a great addition.   His adopters just need to have VERY low expectations on him being a cuddler with people.   With time, such as months or years, he will likely warm up to "HIS PERSON" but will likely never be  a social kitty.  He's been indoors since he was a small baby and is not a candidate for outdoors or barn living.   He just needs a special home that understands he will co exist and watch you.  He must have a friend in the home such as his brother Spock or a cat or kitten already in the home that will welcome him with love!  ##2138714##

Iggy is an energetic and endearing kitten who’s sure to bring a smile to your face every day! This little guy loves to be involved in everything you do—whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, Iggy is always ready to join in the fun. His playful antics include sitting on his butt in the most adorable way, adding a dash of silly charm to his already delightful personality. Born to our wonderful mama cat, Iggy has always been surrounded by love and care, and he has grown into a sociable and affectionate companion. Although he can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, his curiosity and lively spirit quickly shine through. Iggy thrives on interaction and companionship, making him a perfect addition to a loving home. Iggy would love to be adopted with one of his siblings or his mama to continue enjoying the company he cherishes. If he’s adopted as a solo kitty, having a kitty-loving dog, another cat, or a human companion who works from home would be ideal. Kittens like Iggy flourish in environments where they aren’t left alone for long periods. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and snuggly kitten to brighten your days, Iggy is the perfect fit.
