Story
Meet Summer, a charming 16-month-old tabby with a heart as big as his belly. This chunky, three-legged cuddle bug adores everyone—humans, cats, and even dogs. He’s a playful buddy, having had a cat friend in his previous foster home that he loved to wrestle with. Despite having just three legs, he gets around like a pro and never lets it slow him down. His favorite pastimes include lounging by your side, soaking up all the affection, and making everyone around him smile. If you’re ready for a warm-hearted, social kitty who’ll happily snuggle up anytime, Summer is your guy!If you are interested in meeting him, please don't hesitate to email adoption@columbiahumane.org Hadis adoption fee is $150.00 that will include his vaccinations, his microchip, being neutered treated for fleas and treated for worms. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgNovember 6, 2024, 5:41 am

Story
Hi! My name is Mr. Piggy and I am a 5-year-old super affectionate, happy, big boy. My foster mom does independent cat rescue and was working on getting some stray cats spayed and neutered at an abandoned auto shop. I was the only friendly cat there. My foster mom couldn't leave me, so now I am living with her and my foster dad while they help me find my forever home. I had Stomatitis (a mouth disease) when my foster parents took me in, so they got me surgery to fix it and now I am feeling so much better and not in pain anymore! I also have FIV, but that doesn't mean I can't live a long and healthy life. I am one of the sweetest and friendliest lap cats you will ever meet. I would love to set up a meet and greet to meet anyone interested in adopting me. I would do well in any type of home as long as I can get plenty of attention! Please feel free to contact my foster mom Heather and dad Matt with any questions.

Story
Looking for a compassionate, loving home. Indoor, single cat, with potentiality for indoor/outdoor/catio. Story: This June 2024 orange little Julius appeared in our backyard. We werent sure where he came from, but he appeared lost and tame so we began taking care of him. He was frightened for the first 2 weeks, but one day as if by magic he trusted us! He became an incredibly sweet and loving pal that enjoyed following us around the yard and laying on our laps after a good meal. He is playful, chatty, and a joy to sit with. He enjoys purring and is harness/leash trained. Julius is neutered, microchipped, up to date with shots and dental cleaning. The vet approximated his age around 18mo at 12.5lbs with a clean bill of health. Our goal was to transition him inside with our 2 indoor cats. We spent months doing everything possible to integrate him, but came to accept our cats could just be incompatible. We are currently fostering him indoors with plenty of love and playtime.

Story
Shrimp is a handsome 2 year old cat who has been neutered and vaccinated. He is loveable, friendly and playful and enjoys being around children and the elderly. He would make a great companion to kids, and loves to be petted and near his people. Shrimp is immaculate in using his litter box and has never had an accident anywhere in the home. He is an indoor cat who enjoys looking out the window watching dog walkers and the squirrels. Shrimp was my son's cat and he was unable to take Shrimp with him when he relocated to a new apartment in another state and was left with the parents. We have 2 family members who are extremely allergic to cats and the reason we need to rehome Shrimp.

Story
This beautiful girl is looking for a very special home. Freya is the definition of a scaredy cat. She is afraid of everything...well, except the food bowl! Freya needs an owner who will understand her fears and help her to be the amazing kitty she is. Freya is litter box trained and tested negative for FeLV and FIV and is about 5 1/2 years old.November 5, 2024, 12:47 pm
