Story
Nip is a polydactyl, cool guy. His left ear is bent down permanently and his left eye is crossed. He is a big footed lover and gives head butt kisses and wants loves. He isn't fond of being held, but he will sit next to you and get loves all day. He was abandoned and left alone without a home or food. So he is with me until he finds a furever home.

Meet Buster!    Buster is a short-haired kitty who has more brown in her coat with white on her body. She is about 7 years old. Buster was surrendered back in July 2022.  She has been here for over a year. She has made tremendous progress though and is showing lots of improvement. She will hide if you startle her or she doesn’t know you. She will stay out in the open in a quiet environment. She does love her wet food and treats. She loves to be petted as well. She loves to stick her tongue out and can often be found like that. She’s doing so well and is ready to find a new family to give her lots of love. Please be patient if you come in to meet her and she doesn’t initially show interest in you or even stay out. Please come in on a Tuesday or Saturday if you’re interested in adopting her.  She will warm up and has lots of love to offer you. Story
Meet Hazel!   Hazel is a short-haired dark tabby with a short tail. She is about 3 years old. She was returned after no longer being a good fit with her adopted family. We recommend against dogs. She was brought back due to reacting strongly to a dog being introduced into the household. This reaction included not using her litter box and showing severe signs of stress. She’s cat-friendly and did well with older kids (12+) in her previous home. She’s a sweet girl who enjoys affection and attention on her terms. She loves chin rubs and being petted on her head. It took several months to get comfortable in the shelter but she has settled in. She has a fun personality that is fairly independent and sassy at times. She would do great in a home where she could bond and connect with one or two people in a quiet, relaxed setting. She’s ready to find her forever family. Contact us today and ask more about her or stop in to see her today! Our prices are       Kitties 0-4 months - $80       5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs. Story
Meet Abigail!   Abigail is a short-haired tuxedo. She is about 1 year old. She has a goofy, unique personality.  She has come out of her shell and is playful and relaxed in the room. She likes to be held and seeks out attention when she wants it. She loves to flop and roll around. She’s cat-selective and doesn’t seem to bond with anyone in the room. She prefers easygoing older cats who leave her alone. She doesn’t mind them or show any aggression but chooses to do her own thing. She is a good balance between affectionate and independent if you aren’t looking for a clingy cat. We are unsure about dogs or kids. She doesn’t always like loud noises or chaos but this could change in the right environment. It’s recommended you bring in any kids (younger especially) to check how she does. She sometimes will hide from them and climb up out of reach. She’s ready to find a new home with her forever family. Stop by and meet her today!  Our prices are       Kitties 0-4 months - $80       5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs. Story
Meet Paisley!    Paisley is a short-haired tuxedo who is approximately a year old. She has lots of sass and attitude in all the best ways. She’s similar to a sour candy at times and we love that about her. First she’s sour then she’s sweet. Even during her playful moments, she’s very gentle and well behaved. She will bap or swat without any claws or force when she’s feeling playful. She was initially aggressive (growled and stalked) to the cats in the room when she was first introduced and would need to be closely monitored to ensure there were no issues with other kitties in your home. She is quite cat selective and seems to prefer certain cats over other cats. She doesn’t do great with very dominant cats or overly submissive cats who allow her to bully them. She respects cats who stand up for themselves without being mean and will cuddle with them (see picture with Penny for proof). Per a friend of her previous owner, she has experience with dogs and kids (younger and older). In the shelter, she has shown potential issues with dogs. She will stalk a dog when they come in the room but it might be different when she’s in a home setting and can get used to a certain dog. She’s got lots of energy and needs an outlet to run this energy off. She’s used to being indoor/outdoor so she might want to be indoor/outdoor in an adopted home. She’s ready to find her new forever family and provide you with endless entertainment. Stop in today to meet her! Our prices are       Kitties 0-4 months - $80       5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs. Story
Meet Buddy!   Buddy is a short-haired tabby w/ white. He is about 3 years old. He was adopted and recently returned due to no fault of his own. He’s a big boy who is adjusting to being back in the shelter. He’s a sweet guy who seems to be a little shy when you first meet him. He loves to give everybody the biggest head bumps. He is very cat-friendly. We were told he’s bonded to Missy and his previous adopter recommends they be adopted together. You don’t see them together much in the room but it’s hard to say how they would do in a home setting. He’s got a laid-back personality once he adjusts to his environment. It seems like he could be quite needy in a home environment and could become quite cuddly. He is dog and kid-friendly (per his previous adopter) but we are unsure of the ages he does well with. Please bring in your kids before adoption to make sure he does well with them. He’s ready to find his perfect home. Please stop in and meet him today!  Our prices are       Kitties 0-4 months - $80       5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs.
