Story

Aspen is a well loved member of our family. It is with an extremely heavy heart that we are adopting her out. We adopted aspen from a family friend who had an unexpected litter of kittens when she was just 5 weeks old. She is now 2. She is well behaved, and will sometimes be a lap cat. She prefers body petting rather than her head but will definitely let you rub her ears. She is talkative so keep that in mind. She has never had an accident, and is low maintenance. You can trust her alone in the home. She is playful and high energy just like a kitten. We love her a lot, however financial circumstances have made it so we can no longer care for our animals the way we did. She lives with 3 other cats (Luna is also being rehomed). We ultimately decided we need to rehome 2 of them to be able to care for our two senior cats medical expenses. Aspen's only downside is that she is terrified of dogs of all sizes so please no one that has or wants to get a doggie.

I got Luna in I think May or June if this year. She was born in April, I saw her at Petsmart, all the other cats were crying for attention and Luna (her name was Bean at the shelter so we call her Luna Bean), was in the back corner and looked so sad so I felt like I just had to take her home. She is house trained, and well behaved. I would love if she was adopted with Aspen, her housemate who is 2 as they love eachother but I do also feel they would be fine separated as well. Luna can also be quite talkative. She is skittish at first, and then she's all talk and play. She has a funny gallop run. We have an 11 month old and mostly runs away but will also come up and nudge against her and play with her when she's holding one of her toys. She is great at catching bugs and LOVES laser toys and cat TV.

Rehoming my senior(11) cat, he is unhappy being in a home with young kids and now we have another baby on the way he would probably be happy and healthier in a slower and less chaotic home. He would need to be in a home with no kids and no dogs, ideally no cats. He is very aggressive towards dogs. He is slightly overweight and this is something we have been working on with him. He is mostly indoors but does like to lay out in the sun in our back yard, does not leave our yard though. Not overly affectionate but does rub against legs and ask for pets as well as sometimes snuggle on the sofa. Would be happy in a calm home with someone looking for an older kitty companion. No medical issues as far as we know. He will come with a cat tree and his food!

Maki is three years old, a larger, playful and curious tortoiseshell. We have had her since she was a kitten and overall she has been a really good and sweet cat. This last year, though, stresses including outdoor cats fighting and our other older cat being domineering and chasing her contributed to her growing anxiety. On two occasions early this year she experienced redirected aggression and attacked feet or tried to after hearing loud, sudden noises. Since then we have separated the cats and I have successfully been working on rehabbing her, and her behavior is pretty much back to normal. Maki needs a quiet home with someone patient and experienced with behavioral problems. She may be okay with other cats too, so long as they do not have bullying tendencies and aren't too territorial. Mia is about 3 years old, fixed, and vaccinated. She is an indoor cat only and fully litter box trained. She is beautiful and loving, and can sometimes be playful, but will be shy at first until she gets to know you and trust you. The only downside to her personality is that she tends to not do too well with other cats in the home. So, a home where she is the only cat, will be perfect for her. Mia is wonderful with kids and people that she loves, but she's never been around a dog or any other kind of animal, so that is entirely unknown. The only health concern to be aware of with her, is that she is allergic to chicken. I'm hoping to find a permanent indoor home for her, where she can be as loved as she is loving.
