Story
This here is Cruise Ship. He is adequately named, as he is a big boy. While he is big in size, he is the definition of a gentle giant. He gets nervous is new environments, so it may take him a while to warm up. He prefers small spaces to adjust as they do not overwhelm him. He is an older gentleman, so a quiet home is best. He does love a good grooming session and his purr will sound like an engine when you brush him. He would do best as a single cat in the home or with another cat that is not too energetic or territorial as he is an elder now. If you want to bring a distinguished gentleman into your life, Cruise Ship is the cat for you. Contact the centre for more information as he is in a foster home right now, so any meet and greets will need to be scheduled in advance. Story
Meet Tessa, a senior feline resident with a heart full of love. Her sweet and friendly nature is infectious, making everyone around her feel at ease. She's the epitome of gentleness, moving with a grace that's truly her own. Loyalty is another of Tessa's admirable traits. She's the kind of companion who'll stay by your side, offering comfort and companionship in the quietest, most comforting ways. Despite her age, Tessa still has plenty of love to give and life to live. Adopting Tessa means gaining a friend who will bring a sense of calm and warmth to your home, and a loyal companion who will enrich your life with her gentle, loving spirit.Tessa has diabetes, a condition that requires her to have insulin shots twice a day to manage her health. The Ontario SPCA medical team has written a full care plan for her adoptive home which can be reviewed with our RVT to answer any medical questions. We have outlined what to expect, estimated cost of care and basics on how to care for Tessa in your home. Primary Color: Tabby Weight: 4.99 Age: 10yrs 3mths 0wks

Story
Hi, I'm Mittens! I am a pretty special boy that will need a very specific family. I am extremely playful but sometimes I don't know my own strength or that my teeth and nails can hurt my friends. I get overstimulated fast and need to be with an experienced cat family so they can read my body language and know when to help me de-escalate. I was trialed in a working cat placement to hunt mice but unfortunately they fired me because I was too nice and wasn't doing my job of hunting mice. What can I say, I like people more. I think I would do well in a home with lot's of enrichment. Someone who will play with me everyday and provide lot's of new things to do everyday. Also someone who doesn't mind if I accidentally scratch too hard.. I don't mean to, I just get SO excited to play. If you think I am the one for you please come see me, I would love to find my forever home! Primary Color: Grey Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.33 Age: 2yrs 7mths 1wks

Story
DOB: September 2008 - SponsorshipMeet Jack:  Special Needs: Sprays to mark his territory As large in love as he is in size, sweet, emerald-eyed Jack gives new meaning to the term joyful. Thirsty for human attention and affection, the onetime stray is happiest when being petted on any welcoming lap while he purrs in pure kitty contentment. Curious, with a nose that needs to know, he follows everyone around to keep his paws on the pulse of the shelter and all its activities. Sadly, losing his sight, it neither stifles his spirit nor slows his step as he frisks and frolics and, best of all, snuggles. Because he marks his territory, we will be his 'fur-ever' home. Story
DOB: July 2015Meet Zoe: Update Citrine eyes shine in Zoe’s face, adding to the allure of this onetime kitty mama who’s thoroughly enjoying her well deserved “me” time. Not only does she love chasing cat nip toys and springs, she loves playing with her fellow felines, especially Sammi, and delights in perching either on top of a shelf or on a windowsill to gaze dreamily outside.   Still shy around strangers, approach her slowly with a treat or a dab of wet food, and she’ll stay to sample your wares.   Now what Zoe truly needs is the patient nurturing of a tranquil home to keep her shining fur-ever!   If this is your home, click on Adopt. Story
DOB: August 2020Meet Ziggy:  Zeroing in on Ziggy, saved with his three siblings Sweet Pea, Mr. Tibbs, Gandalf and their dad RumTum. Fond of chasing after springs and the laser’s red dot, and now letting us pet him for a bit especially if we have a treat, he may not enjoy being fully petted just yet, but he does enjoy “cat-laxing: lying with his front legs stretched out and hanging down! Now all this charmer needs is a loving home with one of his friends to show him how wonderful petting can be. If this is your home, click on Adopt.
