Domestic Shorthair kittens & cats in Peterborough, Ontario

Purchased as a kitten from Humane Society 5 years ago. She is a curious little girl raised in an adult home. She is very inquisitive liking to know what you are doing....if you are looking in a drawer she is beside you looking too.....if you are fixing something she is beside you watching and helping. She reaches out to you when you are near, she is a sweet little girl that enjoys sleeping with you. Unfortunately my other 5 year old female cat and her were spooked by something outside, since then our other cat does not got along with Kallie even though Kallie is fine with her and we have to keep them separated. She is an indoor cat with excellent litter box manners. She does need portioned meals as will overeat if free fed. She does get along with son's 100 pound Labrador dog but unsure if she would be okay with constant exposure.

Since Valerie has left the shelter and entered our care she has not had any occurrences at all in her foster home. We have added in a variety of wet foods to give her more options. She will require measured, timed feedings as she is currently the perfect weight and size. Valerie would enjoy the company of a similar personality friend with slow and proper introductions.
