Story
Larry is a very playful guy who is happy playing either on his own or with someone. He loves hunting toy mice and getting lots of treats! Although he can be playful and energetic he also loves to nap on the couch or in his hammock. Larry will greet you with face rubs and cuddles, and makes it loud and clear when he wants attention by meowing at you until he’s picked up. He will let you know when he’s had enough cuddles and needs his space. He’s very good at giving signs of when he’s overstimulated, and if these signs are ignored he will swat. Larry may do well with children who are understanding of this and respectful of his boundaries.

Not good with dogs,
Story
KoKo is a very sweet and loving girl. She is small in size and looks like a black Siamese. She is ok with being picked up but for a very short time. She loves to play and will play independently and especially when you join in. She learns quickly the household routine and loves to be in the area where her humans are. She is a quiet girl when she is happy and comfortable but you will hear her loud and clear when she is her crate and wants out. She will eventually settle but cant blame her for trying. She is an absolute doll. She is currently being fostered in Aurora. Please visit our website www.pawsaboverescue.ca to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Not good with cats,
Story
Maria was found abandoned and when rescued, we found out she was pregnant. Being a young kitten herself, she was a very good momma to her babies. Now that Maria has done her motherly duties, it is time she finds her forever family who will love and spoil her the way she always deserved. Maria is not fond of other cats and prefers to be the only cat in the house. She is being fostered with a dog but the dog has no interest in the cats in the house. Maria loves to rest on cold surfaces or scratcher beds. She plays with toys independently a little bit but would love to play interactively with her human family. She will eat her kibble but prefers wet/canned food more. She is very vocal when she wants her food but when fed she will happily just relax and enjoy any attention/love she can get from her family. She is a wonderful companion. Maria is currently being fostered in Aurora. Please visit our website www.pawsaboverescue.ca to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
DOB: September 2021 Pinky and his sibling Brainy are an endearing duo who are being rehomed as a family member has allergies. They are an engaging pair who have great personalities and are in good health. With his unique pink ear (hence the name), Pinky is an adorable-looking fellow. He is good-natured and enjoys being in the company of other cats, dogs, and, most importantly, people. He is a great human companion and will always be happy to curl up in your lap and to snuggle beside you at bedtime. Pinky and Brainy are very bonded and, whether they are awake or asleep, they are usually together. They enjoy chasing after a laser beam or playfully kicking around catnip toys. When they are tired, you will find them curled up together--and often with the family dog--intertwined in a sweet little bundle of fur. Pinky and Brainy are easy-going, joyful cats and who will be a wonderful addition to your family.  Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Story
DOB: September 2021 Brainy and his sibling Pinky are fantastic cat companions that are being rehomed as a family member has allergies. Their current family is anxious that these two much-loved cats find a new loving home. The brothers are affectionate, good-natured and oh so sweet. Brainy is a handsome, white-coloured cat with darker fur on the top of his head that looks like he is wearing a jaunty little hat. He has gorgeous big gold-coloured eyes. Brainy (aka Brain) thrives on human companionship. He will greet you at the door when you arrive home, enjoy your company throughout the day, and then will be right there beside you when you go to bed. He also delights in playing and hanging out with other cats and is super comfortable with the family dog—so much so that the three will sleep curled up together.   Pinky and Brainy are very bonded and, whether they are awake or asleep, they are usually together. They both enjoy chasing after a laser beam or playfully kicking around a catnip toy. Pinky and Brainy are easy-going, joyful cats and that will be a wonderful addition to your family.  Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Story
DOB: est 07-23-2022 Yogi is a good-natured and easy-going fellow. He is a handsome guy with striking tabby markings and big golden eyes.  Yogi is new to our rescue and we are still learning about his personality. He gets along well with the other cats in the adoption centre and enjoys receiving pets and pats. He  is an even-tempered and  social guy. Yogi was found as a homeless cat and perhaps life as a stray made him really appreciate  the basics, like food, shelter and human attention. He has a gentle spirit about him and has been described as having an “old soul” personality. Yogi enjoys playing with dangling toys and jumping and leaping onto the cat tree. He would do well in a home with another young cat.  Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Please email the completed form to contact@forgottenones.ca. Adoption fees are $250.00 for adult cats (one year and older), $300.00 for kittens, and $175.00 for senior cats (10+ years old). Story
DOB:  April 18, 2023 Bandicoot is a sweet-natured, affectionate boy who appreciates receiving a quiet cuddle, but he is not overly clingy or vocal. He enjoys keeping you company night and day, and, as your work companion, he is diligent about keeping regular hours. Bandi is a self-appointed Chief Office Cat and will oversee your workplace, although much of his duties involve him contently snoozing on the windowsill. Despite his laidback attitude, he always receives an excellent Performance Appraisal! When he is not “working”, Bandi will happily play fetch, a game that he finds extremely entertaining. His favourite toy is a soft yarn ball that crinkles. He is an energetic, frisky fellow who delights in racing throughout the house. He has a great attitude about everything and, as a foodie, he shows great enthusiasm for meal time and treat time. Bandi needs to be in a home with similar-aged cat as he is still a kitten at heart. He gets along with other cats and cohabitates peacefully with a small dog. Bandi is an easy-going, good-natured cat who will be a wonderful addition to your family.Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/.
