Story
Our neighbours across the back alley moved out and left the female cat outside. She kept coming to our backyard -meowing and looking for attention. Over time, she was more and more trusting letting us pet her and feed her. It was all during the nice summer and fall weather, she kept coming and we started feeding her. At first Ludwika, as we started calling her that, was very reluctant in coming inside the house but overtime she realized how good it felt to be warm and cozy indoors. And she stayed around...for a long time. We kept her and with a lot of help from our neighbours, we were able to enjoy her independent personality. Not sure how old she is but she is definitely a senior just like us. She is very unassuming, quiet unless hungry, shy when people come to visit and it gets noisy. She likes children as long as they are gentle with her. Her favourite time is staying outdoors and observing the surroundings. With a very heavy heart, we decided to surrender her to another happy home.

Story
Hey there. I`m Susie. I`m an avid catnip lover and advocate for personal space. Why don`t you come on over so I can tease you with my fancy footwork. I`ll need to rub against you for awhile before I let you actually touch me and even then I`ll back up and make you come to me as I meow and leg weave for attention. I guess you could say I`m a bit of a dancer but need to check your dance moves before I accept your invitation to the actual dance floor. I can promise you I am worth the very short wait, no more than a verse or two of whatever is playing. Just don`t hold me too close because I`m a bit uncomfortable being picked up. Oh and about my tail...don`t even think about touching it. Since little humans can`t seem to resist a swishing tail, I`m best suited to a home without young children and adults that can read and respect my body language!

Story
Soooo, you`ve probably noticed I`m not a baby. I hope that doesn`t make a difference in things. I`ve been called Baby Blue all my life and it`s usually just shortened to Baby. I have no time or patience for dogs or young children so need a home without them. Other cats are questionable, sometimes I like them and other times no-way-Jose. Give me a little time to get used to my new digs and you just may find me on your lap, nudging you to start petting me. Waddya say...is your lap gonna be a good fit? You also may have noticed i`m considered a `special paws` adoption this means me adoption fee is up to you to choose!

Story
Hello there, my name is Buttermilk. You may have read my bio before but I`m here again to tell you that I`ve made some great progress with the help of the best volunteers and staff around! You might remember that I can get overstimulated with too much affection, meanwhile I will still seek out love. I`ve learned to tolerate being pet more and being scratched gently on the top of my head. I haven`t mastered my communication skills just yet and still lean towards using my mouth on those weird paws you humans have, I don`t mean any harm and the moment my teeth touchdown I release just as fast. Today I even put my mouth gently over the hand that stopped petting me because I wanted more!! Apparently I`m not supposed to do that, so the petting didn`t resume until I tried my other tactic of rubbing my face along them and that seemed to work great! I still have some learning to do and am going to need a patient adopter with cat experience who can better understand my body language and give me love when I need it.I am not what you humans would call a “Beginner’s Cat.” I need someone in sync with my moods, who will appreciate my independent and okay, I’ll say it, my feisty personality. Children and other animals are not my cup of tea so I cannot go to a home with them. By the way, I am a Special Paws pet because I`m likely to have some chronic eye discharge, which means my adoption fee is up to you!See Buttermilk on Tiktok! https://tinyurl.com/v3e9u7k9

Story
Hey there, I think I might have just fallen in love at first sight…oh yes, pet me, pet me, pet me. SWAT. Oops, sorry, I should have been polite and asked you to stop petting me, but that’s just not in my nature. So you’ll need to understand that I expect everything to be done on my terms…and my terms may change like the springtime weather here. I really only like being petted on my head, so please don`t touch my body. Oh, and another thing…I am used to having the house to myself, that means no small humans and definitely no other animals. You think I swat hard when I’m by myself???? Don’t push your luck with too many people in my space, little people and other animals---you’ll get far more than a swat. I`m what they call an `Underdog`, though I prefer the term `Undercat`. This means that the people here know I need a special adopter with cat experience, who will be patient and understanding while they learn my body language This means that my adoption fee is up to you!You may think I’m a bit on the nasty side…I prefer to think I have high standards. Yes I set the bar high but I think I am definitely worth it. If you think you’d like to join my company, I am accepting resumes for the position of servant. Salary is not negotiable, in fact, I expect you to pay me by catering to my every whim and fancy. One more thing, I do not provide training so only humans with Cat Servant experience will be contacted for an interview.Tempted? Come on by and let me tease you.See Kika on Tiktok! https://tinyurl.com/5n6vud7w
