Domestic Shorthair kittens & cats in King, Ontario

Dash loves attention but can easily become overstimulated. She can usually be found napping or playing with her toys! While she is very loving, she does not enjoy being handled and will need a family who is comfortable with letting her be herself!

Evan can be shy at first but is very loving and playful once he trusts you! He is a very laid back and independent guy but does enjoy the company of people! He does not like being picked up or restrained and will need a family who is comfortable with letting him be himself.

Larry is a very playful guy who is happy playing either on his own or with someone. He loves hunting toy mice and getting lots of treats! Although he can be playful and energetic he also loves to nap on the couch or in his hammock. Larry will greet you with face rubs and cuddles, and makes it loud and clear when he wants attention by meowing at you until he’s picked up. He will let you know when he’s had enough cuddles and needs his space. He’s very good at giving signs of when he’s overstimulated, and if these signs are ignored he will swat. Larry may do well with children who are understanding of this and respectful of his boundaries.

Maria was found abandoned and when rescued, we found out she was pregnant. Being a young kitten herself, she was a very good momma to her babies. Now that Maria has done her motherly duties, it is time she finds her forever family who will love and spoil her the way she always deserved. Maria is not fond of other cats and prefers to be the only cat in the house. She is being fostered with a dog but the dog has no interest in the cats in the house. Maria loves to rest on cold surfaces or scratcher beds. She plays with toys independently a little bit but would love to play interactively with her human family. She will eat her kibble but prefers wet/canned food more. She is very vocal when she wants her food but when fed she will happily just relax and enjoy any attention/love she can get from her family. Sparrow is a lovely girl who just goes with the flow along with her sibling Aurora. She really is sweet as pie and enjoys any attention and affection she can receive from her humans. DOB: est 07-23-2022 Yogi is a good-natured and easy-going fellow. He is a handsome guy with striking tabby markings and big golden eyes.  Yogi is new to our rescue and we are still learning about his personality. He gets along well with the other cats in the adoption centre and enjoys receiving pets and pats. He  is an even-tempered and  social guy. Yogi was found as a homeless cat and perhaps life as a stray made him really appreciate  the basics, like food, shelter and human attention. He has a gentle spirit about him and has been described as having an “old soul” personality. Yogi enjoys playing with dangling toys and jumping and leaping onto the cat tree. DOB:  April 18, 2023 Bandicoot is a sweet-natured, affectionate boy who appreciates receiving a quiet cuddle, but he is not overly clingy or vocal. He enjoys keeping you company night and day, and, as your work companion, he is diligent about keeping regular hours. Bandi is a self-appointed Chief Office Cat and will oversee your workplace, although much of his duties involve him contently snoozing on the windowsill. Despite his laidback attitude, he always receives an excellent Performance Appraisal! When he is not “working”, Bandi will happily play fetch, a game that he finds extremely entertaining. His favourite toy is a soft yarn ball that crinkles. He is an energetic, frisky fellow who delights in racing throughout the house. He has a great attitude about everything and, as a foodie, he shows great enthusiasm for meal time and treat time. Bandicoot was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) and, fortunately, he was successfully treated for the condition. He had a full recovery other than he is a bit clumsy and unsteady when trying to jump. He can run and play with gusto and great enthusiasm,  but he lacks the ability to jump. DOB: Est: 2020  Rose is a lovely, pretty cat with expressive green eyes. She had a rough start to life as she was found as a homeless, frightened, and pregnant cat. She gave birth to four kittens who found families, and, now, it is Rose’s turn to find a forever home. Volunteers have helped Rosie develop a trust with humans, and she is ready for a quiet, loving home that will provide her with the comfort and security she craves.  Rosie Posie (her nickname) delights in pats and being brushed, but she appreciates if you approach her in a calm manner. She is food motivated and treats will always get her attention, plus, she will regularly appear in your bedroom in the morning awaiting her breakfast. Being an independent gal, Rosie is content to spend time on her own. She enjoys lounging on the windowsill watching the birds flitter about outside. She also likes to snooze in the sling of a cat tree. Rosie is a quiet, unassuming cat but her gentle spirit will be quickly become a welcome presence in your home. Introducing Milo!  Male     DOB: Oct 20,2022 Milo was surrendered to Saint Cat Rescue when his owner advised they had developed severe allergies. When Milo first came to us, he was heartbroken, scared, and angry. Introducing Yogi!  Male    DOB:  Mar 20,2022 Yogi was born on the streets of Toronto and rescued from the hardship faced with life on the streets. When he first arrived, he did not trust humans, but thanks to his amazing foster mom, he has blossomed into a complete love bug who seeks attention and just wants to be loved on and stroked.    Yogi is a handsome white and brown short haired tabby with beautiful green eyes and an innocent face, with a sweet gentle and quiet nature. He melts with the touch of head scratches and under the chin rubs. Introducing Aurora!   Female   DOB: Nov 2,2021  Aurora was rescued from a colony in Stoufville where she was only fed left over table scraps so she could contribute to controlling the mouse population. When she arrived, she was full of ticks and infested with fleas. She was extremely scared at first, but thanks to some much-needed unconditional love and the patience she received from her foster mom, she has learned to trust and enjoys being petted and stroked. Not quite ready to be picked up, but everyday she takes strides to becoming the lap cat she wants to be.    A beautiful short haired tortie with unique markings, a sweet innocent face, that screams “love me” and a calm, gentle and quiet nature.     Aurora would do best in a quiet home that has no other animals, no children and with a patient owner who understands her need to feel safe and loved.
