Story
Have you always wanted a confident calico delight to rock your world? Look no further than ten year old Francine! Outgoing and affectionate, talkative oh so soft, Francine is truly one of the best kitties that you could ever ask for. Francine is the type of cat who is up and at 'em from the moment you walk in the room, she isn't going to waste a second of trying to get your attention! Between dancing on her perfect feet and calling out to you with her adorably rough meow (Sometimes she sounds like a little frog), you just can't miss this gorgeous girl. Once you get your hands on Francine, she is all purrs and happy headbutts. Sometimes she gets so excited by your company that she just can't sit still, and she ends up boogeying back and forth while trying to have you pet as many places on her as possible all at the same time. There's nowhere on Francine's body that she doesn't like pet, she's an open book! Francine has two loves in life - Hanging out with her human friends, and FOOD! A full bowl of food is a girl's best friend, and Francine isn't shy about letting you know when it's getting close to meal time. Pick her up, brush her out, and kiss her sweet head, Francine is just totally content to be by your side as much as possible. Francine will happily trot right behind your feet as you go about your day, so you can be sure you'll never be lonely. Francine loves kids and gets along great with everyone she meets. She would likely do best as the only kitty in the home, as she is not overly fond of other cats. Something to know about me: Francine is a diabetic kitty, but thankfully she is in remission and does not require insulin. All that Francine needs is her diabetic management wet food, and she's totally set - No fuss, no muss! Francine pays back your extra TLC by being the most loyal kitty friend around.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.GEORGIO ARMANI was living outside with his mum in someone’s backyard. The owner of the home reached out to the rescue to take him and his 2 siblings into find them their forever homes. He’s neutered, UTD on vaccines including rabies, had a flea and tick treatment and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. He’s a very handsome kitty who has come such a long way since arriving in his foster home. He now likes to be held and will snuggle for a bit but not for too long before he’s in search of new places to explore again.  GERGIO ARMANI is litter box trained and knew how to use it when he came into rescue. He loves to play with all the different cat toys he has and enjoys sitting in the cat tree watching the birds and squirrels play outside. He should do well with another cat in the home as long as they’re not a dominant one as he could easily be bossed around. He has a dog in his foster home but he doesn’t pay him any attention so if there’s a cat savvy dog in the home then he should do well with them providing a slow, monitored introduction is made. Children should be age 8 plus due to him never having met any up until this point.  GEORGIO ARMANI needs a patient adopter who knows it will take him a week or 2 to feel comfortable in his new home and settle in. He’ll probably hide for a few days before he’s comfortable enough to start exploring his new home too. Once he’s comfortable though he’ll reward his new owner with lots of purring and loving so he’s totally worth the wait. If you’re interested in meeting GEORGIO ARMANI then please submit an adoption application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 1:30 pm

Story
11 Year old Eve is ready and raring to go home with you - Downright bubbly, full of excitement, and oh so very friendly, it's easy to fall totally in love with this pretty kitty as soon as you meet her! Eve is social and always up for a hang out or cuddle session, she's at her happiest when you're nearby to keep her company. Whether she's lounging in her own bed or laying against your side, she purrs up a storm the entire time you're together. Pleasantly talkative, Eve likes to speak her mind and hear what you have to say in return. She loves to hear about your day, how pretty she is, how soon dinner is coming... She's a fantastic conversationalist and likes to make sure that your day is always filled with her musical meows. Eve is a snuggler at heart, she really thrives on the closeness of her humans. Kiss her head or brush out her gorgeous grey fur, and Eve will be totally over the moon. She always appreciates a good spa day, so don't be shy about pampering her every chance you get. Eve absolutely loves children, and is incredibly gentle with them. She has the perfect patient attitude that helps her get along with littles ones. Eve is looking for a forever home with no other cats. Something to know about me: Eve is a diabetic kitty, but that doesn't make her any less perfect! Thankfully Eve is very easy to take care of and does not require insulin as she is diabetic remission, her blood sugar is kept stable thanks to her diabetic-friendly diet.

The owner of the home reached out to the rescue to take him and his 2 siblings in to find them their forever homes. He’s neutered, UTD on vaccines including rabies and had a flea and tick treatment. He’s a  handsome sleek black cat and he’s really come a long way from the timid little boy he was when he first arrived at his foster home. He likes to be held but on his terms and often won’t stay in your arms for too long before he’s off exploring again and searching for new places to play in.  JIMMY CHOO’s already litter box trained and being the smart boy that he is, knew how to use it when he came into rescue. He loves to play with all the different cat toys he has and lobes sitting in the cat tree by the window and watch the birds and squirrels playing outside. He should do well with another cat as long as they’re not dominant as he’s just a big softie and could easily be bossed around. He’s in a foster home with a dog but he doesn’t pay him any attention at all so if there’s one in the home, they should be cat savvy and a slow monitored introduction should be done. Children should be age 8 plus due to him never having met any up until this point. JIMMY CHOO needs a relatively quiet home and adopters who will be patient while he settles in with them and into a new routine. There’s no doubt he’ll be hiding when he first arrives at his new home and it may take a week or so for him to settle in. Once he has though he’ll reward you with lots of purrs and loving. He just needs to be given a chance to be with a family who will love him for who he is and give him the chance to have a family to call his very own.  If you’re interested in meeting JIMMY CHOO then please submit an adoption application for him.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 1:30 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.NUTMEG was found living outside on a rural property and it was presumed she was dumped along with several other cats and kittens that were found there. She’s spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. She a super friendly girl who loves her humans and will curl up in your lap and turn into a purring machine to get lots of attention and snuggles from you.  NUTMEG’s litter box trained and she has been since first going to her foster home. She loves being adventurous and exploring all the nooks and crannies she can find. She enjoys playing with all sorts of toys but chasing a ball is one of her favourite past times. She also enjoys sitting in the cat tree and looking out the window at all the wildlife outside. She’s fostered with other kittens and at first she wasn’t what to make of them but it didn’t take long before they all became friends. She would suit a home with another cat who has been around other cats but she would also do well as an only cat as long as she isn’t left alone for long periods of time. She has a dog in her foster home but he pretty much ignores her so we’re not sure how she’ll be with one but they should do okay together provided the dog is cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction is done. Children should be age 6 and up plus be loving, caring and gentle towards animals.  If NUTMEG sounds like she would suit you and your family then please submit an adoption application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 1:30 pm

Story
Three year old Oreo is looking for a forever family! Do you have room in your home and heart to welcome this wonderful, flirtatious tuxedo into your world? Let us tell you a little more about how we met this this young lass: Oreo became a member of the Furry Friends Family after being rescued from a very hectic situation. She was one of many unfixed male and female cats living together under one roof, which resulted in Oreo carrying litter after litter of kittens. Unfortunately, very few of Oreo's precious babies survived this ordeal, and she became more distraught as time went on until her family decided that they could no longer keep her. Oreo has been spending time in a dedicated foster home healing and growing from her past. She's made so much progress! With her incredibly affectionate attitude, Oreo isn't afraid to demand attention when she wants to be pampered, but she's also content to hang out on her own when she needs a little 'me time'. If you're looking for a confident kitty who knows what she wants and when she wants it, Oreo is your golden ticket. Oreo is total foodie, meal time is the best time of the day if you ask her. She would do pretty much anything for seconds or treats, which means that food is also a great way to win Oreo's heart when you're first getting to know her. Throughout the day, you'll definitely get to see Oreo panoodling around the house, enjoying a few of her absolute favourite things: Climbing her cat towers, zooming around after a plastic spring, or laying flat out in front of your feet to encourage you to give her a massage! Oreo is great at communicating, so she will come right to you when she's ready for some TLC. Something to know about Oreo is that, after all of the terrible loss and struggle she has endured in her short life, she can get overstimulated if too much is going on and her 'Okay, I need to take a breather' signals are ignored. Oreo loves peaceful days and your warm company, she loves to lay on the edge of the bathtub with you and she will languidly relax nearby as you kick your feet up on the couch. But sometimes Oreo needs to retreat and have some quiet time to herself, and if you try to ignore her needs by persisting to follow her, she will bite to say 'I really need some space right now'. Oreo is not mean, she is not aggressive, and she is not 'bad'. She is simply a kitty who has overcome some seriously traumatic times, and she needs a human who is going to understand and love her through it all. Maybe you're exactly who she's been waiting for! Oreo is looking for a home with no other cats, no dogs, and no children.
