Story
About Maggie:Meet Maggie! She is a sweet and outgoing Domestic Shorthair kitten with a stunning brown tabby and tortoiseshell mixed coat. Maggie came to us at a very young age in terrible condition, and without immediate intervention, she may not have survived much longer. Fortunately, she was placed into foster care with one of our staff members, where she received critical care and was nursed back to health. Now, Maggie is ready to find her forever home! She loves to run around playing with her toys, and her favorites are wand toys and her purple rabbit toy. Maggie is an energetic girl who enjoys life to the fullest and would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a playful and spirited kitten.Personality:Affection Level: Sweet and outgoing, but prefers playing to being heldEnergy Level: High energy; loves to run, jump, and playLikes: Wand toys, her purple rabbit toy, and playing with peopleDislikes: Being held or restricted; prefers to be active and running aroundPerfect Home: Best suited for a home where she can be the center of attention and enjoy her energetic play sessions. Maggie would do well in an active household with respectful children, but she may need a slow introduction to other pets.Behavior with Kids: Good with respectful children, recommended to a home with children 8+Behavior with Other Pets: Maggie is still learning boundaries with adult cats. While she was initially nervous around other cats, she has settled in and enjoys their company, though she can be a little high-energy at times. She would likely be happiest as the only cat in the home, but with a proper introduction, she could do well with other cats.Health & Medical:Maggie has had a history of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in the past. As a result, she must remain on a high-moisture wet food diet to help prevent further issues. Additional information about her dietary needs can be provided. Despite her past medical concerns, Maggie is healthy and active, and with the right care, she can continue to thrive.Ideal Home:Maggie would thrive in an active home where she can play and explore to her heart`s content. She would love to be pampered as the queen of her castle, but with a slow and careful introduction, she could adjust to life with other cats. Maggie would be perfect for families or individuals who have the time and energy to provide her with the playtime, attention, and love she craves.

Story
Meet Tetra, a spirited feline with a zest for life. Once a feral cat, she’s gradually learned the joys of domesticity, though she still retains a bit of her wild heart. Tetra loves to play, and you`ll often find her tapping at the bars for attention when she`s in the mood for some fun. She has made great strides in learning to trust, though it can take a little while for her to warm up to new people. Her trust is hard-earned but once she feels comfortable, it’s a gift she offers with great care.Personality:Affection Level: Tetra is learning to accept affection, but it’s still a work in progress. She’s starting to enjoy attention, though she may need time before she fully relaxes.Energy Level: High energy; loves to play and interact, especially when it comes to her favorite toys.Likes: Lickable treats (a surefire way to win her over!), playtime, and the company of people she trusts.Dislikes: Tetra can be wary of new people and situations, and may need time to adjust. She’s not quite ready to fully enjoy being held or cuddled just yet.Perfect Home: Tetra would do best in a home with a patient, understanding adopter who is willing to give her time and space to build trust. She may not be the most affectionate at first, but she’s on her way to becoming a loyal companion.Behavior with Kids: Tetra would likely do best in a home without young children, as she still needs time to feel completely comfortable. Older children who are gentle and patient may be okay, but any interactions should be calm and respectful.Behavior with Other Pets: Tetra is still adjusting to her social environment, so she may need a slow and proper introduction to other pets, she seems to like the company of other cats.Ideal Home:Tetra would do best in a quiet, patient home with someone who understands that building trust takes time. She would thrive in a household that is calm and willing to let her approach things on her own terms. Once she’s comfortable, Tetra’s playful and resilient nature will shine through, making her a rewarding companion.Ready to Meet Tetra? If you think you’re the right person to help Tetra continue on her journey and would like to offer her a patient, loving home, please fill out the adoption application on our website or contact us to learn more.
