Story
Meet Mario & Peach! Mario & Peach are about 1 year old. This bonded brother & sister love to chase and wrestle and play with catnip toys & balls. Mario is even learning to fetch the ball so that you can throw it back again! They love to be with the people in their foster home and will sleep with their foster parents for at least part of the night. They come for pets and like to be picked up for a short cuddle and then off again to play. They have always lived with other cats and would be fine with respectful children. Mario & Peach have been neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, vet checked and tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart & your home for these two playful felines, contact us here or email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com. The adoption fee is $400 for the pair.

Story
Meet Sadie! Sadie is a beautiful 2 year old dilute tortoiseshell. She was rescued from the street with her 4 kittens in tow, looking for food. Sadie’s kittens are all weaned now and she is looking for her forever home. She is curious by nature, likes to explore and loves to sit in the window watching the wildlife. Sadie has what we call tortitude – she likes to be in charge and do things on her own terms - in other words she is independent. Sadie is food motivated and comes running when it is time to eat and she is easily bribed with treats. Sadie is not fond of other animals. She is great with her kittens but is not good with the puppy or the other adult cats in her foster home. Sadie would do well as an only cat or would do well adopted with one of her kittens. She may also be okay with a calmer dog who will not chase her or be in her face. Sadie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FELV. The adoption fee is $250 (or $400 for a pair if adopted with one of her kittens). If you have room in your heart & your home for Sadie or Sadie & one of her kittens, contact us here, email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com or fill out an application at https://heartstohomes.ca/cat-adoption/.

Story
Meet Astrophe! Astrophe is a sweet, playful, cuddly girl about 2.5 to 3 years old. She was left behind when her family was evicted. She arrived skinny and frightened but has become more social and even a little chunky. Astrophe is an avid catnip fan, loves treats and has a favourite squeaky toy that her foster home finds buried under floor mats or stashed beside the bed. Astrophe doesn’t mind being picked up or held and enjoys napping on the bed or nearby on the couch with her foster parents. Astrophe will be standoffish at first in a new home but will come around quickly once she builds trust. Astrophe is okay with female cats but is not a fan of male cats although with patience she has learned to tolerate the male cats in her foster home. Astrophe would do best in a calmer home as an only cat or with another gentle female cat. She would be fine with older children who will give her space. She is not proven with dogs. Astrophe has been spayed, vaccinated, vet checked, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart and your home for Astrophe, contact us here or email hertstohomesfelines@gmail.com. The adoption fee is $250.

Story
Meet Eloise (brown/orange tabby) and Simon (grey & white tabby)! These sweet 7 month old kittens are looking for forever homes! ELOISE: Eloise is the definition of a fighter. At 3 months old, she was brought to us in severe conditions. She has dealt with: blood parasites, life-threatening anemia, malnutrition, GI parasites, severe parasites, and more. She was so skinny and so anemic that she couldn't breathe properly. It was scary. This tiny-but-mighty girl not only survived, but CONQUERED. Eloise is a firecracker of a kitten with a huge personality and now, 4 months later, a clean bill of health!!!! She has a small amount of irritation in her lungs that our vets suspect is damage from all she's endured, but it doesn't affect her breathing or respiratory health in any way, and will hopefully continue to fade as she gets older. She is on no medications, no special diets, and gets no special treatments. Eloise is a tiny kitten with a big attitude - she's vocal and playful, and will not hesitate to yell at you if you're late with dinner LOL. She loves other cats, although she can be slow to build trust with them. She would LOVE to be adopted with her brother Simon, but could also go solo to a home with another young, gentle cat. She loves to snuggle on the couch, and is a huge fan of jingly toys she can chase. SIMON: Simon is a sweet, goofy guy with lots of love to give! I had a rough start to life but I’m ready to find my forever home! I love to chase my toys and I really love fishing rod toys. I am vocal and chatty, and love to tell you all about my day. My sister Eloise and I are the last two kittens in our family left for adoption. We would love to go home together but it’s not a requirement. I do need a home with a young, gentle cat to keep me company and be my new BFF! Both cats are untested with cat-savvy dogs or children, but would likely be ok with either given appropriate introductions. They have been spayed/neutered, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, health-checked by our veterinary partners, and treated for parasites. They both tested negative for FIV/FELV. The adoption fee is $250, or $400 for the pair. If you have room in your heart and your home for one or both of these sweet cats, please apply at www.heartstohomes.ca/cat-adoption.

Story
These siblings were born approximately June 2/21. Chloe and Colby are very sweet kittens. They were rescued from an outdoor situation where they were probably born to an outdoor stray and the resident who found them called for some help to rescue them. They are still very shy of people in their foster home but will enjoy pets while eating. It may take some time for their new family to gain their trust but we feel in time they will settle down. They will come and eat close to the humans and they do enjoy the company of the resident cat. They are getting used to the dog slowly. They will definitely need a patient home most likely a quiet home would be best for these two. Please apply if interested in this pair. They would probably love a quiet home with another calm cat to show them the ropes. Chloe and Colby is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Story
This sweet, 3-year-old, former momma is very inquisitive and sweet. We’re confident that this sweet girl was previously a house cat, but we think may have had some unfortunate experiences with people in the past. She may take time to adjust to meeting her new family, but once she does, she loves attention. She is very inquisitive about life, and loves watching TV! She is great with other cats as she has offered no issues with her foster’s three cats. She will make an amazing companion to an ideally slower household, or potentially a family, who is understanding of her body language and accepts that she may need time to fully trust them. Her foster is happy to teach Shiloh’s new family her body language cues to set everyone up for success.. Shiloh is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Story
Dahlia is the mama of the four kittens. She is approximately 1 to 2 years old. She came terrified, unsure how to behave around people but that changed when she learned she was getting the help she needed and her sweet personality bloomed. She has a lovely voice ranging from soft meows, chirps, and trills to let you know she is very happy. Dahlia yearns for attention and loves to weave around your legs, asking for pets on her head and along her back. She is most content when all four feet are on a solid surface. Although Dahlia is not fond of being held or snuggled, she may come to accept in the future that these things are nice too! Dahlia is very good at using her litter box! In fact, she does such a good job at covering her mess that it is recommended that she have a large or covered litter box as she tends to kick litter further than she needs to. Dahlia usually minds her own business and is happy to sleep in a quiet corner away from other pets, so should there be other pets in her new home, they should be introduced slowly and with absolute patience. Dahlia’s kittens are also available for adoption: Teddy, Linus, Percy, and Molly. Each kitten is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application. Story
Milo is a 5 month old tabby (as of August 8) who loves to cuddle and is generally pretty chill. He mostly wants to spend time with his human, and will go berserk for string toys. Millie is a 4 month old tabby (as of August 8) with a white nose, and she's cute as a button. She likes to stalk and pounce on her friend Milo and explore any and all surfaces. We would like this pair to be adopted together if possible. We will look for best match. Each kitten is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. Story
This is Junie. She is a young (about 18 months) friendly cat. She is black and white marking on her face that look like little tear drops and a white ring around her black tail. She was found pregnant, living in the backyard of a friend of the rescue. She had 4 beautiful kittens (including Juno and Skye). She was a very good mom and now it’s her turn to find a loving home. She is very friendly and loves to play. She is still a kitten at heart. She gets along with her foster siblings but tends to prefer the company of the boys. She would be happiest in a home with another cat and lots of people to give her the attention she deserves. Junie is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application.
