If she is not marked pending, she is still available, please just submit an application** *Female cat *brown/black tabby *Approximately 1 1/2 years old as of February 2024 -Wendy and Peter came to us as an owner surrender, where they were living in a not very good situation. We were supposed to take three cats from the home as they were threatening to dump them outside, but before we could get them into foster, one of the cats was killed by the family dog :(. We were so glad to get these two but so sad one had been lost. Per her foster: “Wendy, is a 1.5 year old female who loves pets and quiet. She is great with other cats after slow introductions. She is shy at first, but with a little time will beg for pets.” She will do best at first kept in a smaller room, and then slowly given more space as she gets used to her new people! Older kids or adults are best for her as she can be scared at first. She is spayed, FIV/Felv negative, rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. She will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that she cannot be declawed. If she is not marked pending, she is still available, please just submit an application** **I am in foster in Pittsburgh ** *Female cat *brown ticked tabby *Approximately 1 1/2-2 years old as of September 2024 -Penny came in after she was found living outside with two generations of her kittens and we are lucky we were able to take her into the rescue and ensure that she won’t continue to have babies! Penny is a sweet, quiet girl who is shy at first but does warm up and enjoys being petted and loved on. She will do best at first kept in a smaller room, and then slowly given more space as she gets used to her new people! She is currently living with her daughters and sons and can be adopted with any of them or can be adopted to a home with other animals with slow introductions. They had never been handled by humans before them and were very scared when they came here. Cisco was extra spicy lol. But after about three days of snuggles and handling, these boys are now friendly and happy boys! Cisco is a little play monster who is always trying to get the other kitties to play with him, but he’s also now the biggest purr monster who loves being petted and snuggled! Wally is more nervous at first but is learning that humans are nice and give good pets!These boys definitely would love to be adopted together, and priority will be given to someone who wants them both. If they are being adopted separately, at least Cisco has to go home with at least one other cat in the home. Wally is more indifferent about others! He is neutered, FIV/Felv negative, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative.
