Story
Reggie is searching for his forever home. He is well mannered and curious. He is nervous around new people and will scare easily. However once used to you he will come around and seek attention and pets. He will approach with caution but once he trusts you, he will head butt and want ear scratches. He absolutely loves other cats so he should be adopted into another cat household. He also enjoys treats and will interactively play with you and a dangly toy. He does not like to be picked up or placed in a cat carrier. A quiet adult only home would be preferred. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!

Story
I am a survivor! Moe came to his foster home with two of his siblings - was adopted out but returned due to no fault of his own. He was diagnosed in April with FIP- which is typically fatal in young cats. Luckily for Moe he had wonderful people from the HART team who were willing to give him the care and medications needed. For 3 months he received an experimental treatment that was able to cure his FIP. He has been patiently waiting another 3 months to make sure he was truly cured- and he is! Moe is a gentle cat- he has a lovely loud purr and prefers to sit next to you on the couch and in bed. He enjoys playing a game of fetch and gets along well with other foster cats. He does not like dogs and would do best in a quiet adult home. He also enjoys treat time and of course breakfast (when he gets wet food). He's a lovely calm boy who deserves a special home. Story
Hi, I’m Misha! I was found abandoned at a car lot and brought to HART as a young kitten. I’m a one year old tuxedo female with the cutest black dot on my nose. I’m still learning to trust people, but I LOVE other cats, especially bigger ones that I can curl up with, or smaller ones that I can play with. I’ve made a lot of progress with my foster family, but my forever family will need to be patient with me. There are a couple people in my foster family that I trust completely, and I’m happy to let them pet me or pick me up. Sometimes I get scared and run away, but I ALWAYS come back out when I hear my food being poured! I would love to be adopted into a house with other cats/kittens. If you don’t already have one at home I have some younger friends from my foster home that I can recommend! Story
Meet Rubie! Rubie was found by a HART foster under her 85 year old neighbors deck with five - four week old kittens. She took very good care of them and kept them safe. Rubie is just 10 months old, having babies of her own. Well, no more babies for Rubie. Once mama was no longer nursing she was fully vetted and spayed. She is now ready to enjoy being her own kitten again, and steal her way into your heart and home. Rubie is very sweet and loving she enjoys being petted and sitting on your lap, and loves watching the birds out the window. She is shy at first but will warm up quickly, she deserves a great forever home. Rubie should be fine around other cats, with proper introduction. She would do well around older children who respect her space, rather than little ones who might like to grab. She hasn't been tested around dogs, that we are aware of. Story
Meet Rascal! My name is Rascal. I am the biggest of my siblings. I am learning to be held and be around people. I am a little shy but I do like to be held. I am the instigator of the group, I like to run and chase with my siblings after all of our toys. I will do best in a home with another cat or one of my siblings. I'm not good round small children. My siblings and I were found in my foster mom's complex under her 85 year old neighbor's deck She was trying the best she could to feed us but she is handicapped. My foster mom stepped up and trapped my mom and all five of us kittens. Once mom could be separated she was vetted /spayed and is ready for her forever home. She took very good care of us during our first 4 weeks of life until my foster mom stepped in. My foster mom took very good care of us got us the vetting needed, and when we were big enough we were spayed and neutered now we are ready for our forever home. HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs.
