Story
Penny is a sweet, short-haired tortoiseshell cat. She spends her days sunning herself and playing with her yorkipoo friend, Louie. She has been a wonderful cat who has grown up with our family and been loved dearly by our children. She's used to a home with lots of activity and does well adjusting when there's a party or children running around! She's very quiet and independent. Our family situation has recently changed and we are looking for a loving family to adopt Penny. She receives a dose of insulin daily as a treatment for diabetes. She is up-to-date on her shots and has been spayed. She would make a wonderful companion for anyone seeking a loyal friend.

Story
Beaker is a sweet and brave little stray girl found in Oct at about 6 months old. She'd try to play with my current cat through the glass on my sliding door and eventually just walked in when I opened it. She loves attention and playing with other cats. Still has kitten energy so toys and attention from you or another cat are needed. Once her energy is gone she is content to be a lap cat. She is also very vocal when it is food or play time. She hasn't had much interest in trying to go outside. She has her shots and has been spayed recently so the cat carrier terrifies her. Also not a fan of being picked up and held. Trimming nails since the day she walked in and hasn't been an issue. Loves butt scratches. Tummy is a no no. Loves to fetch. TLDR Likes: -toys -butt scratches -laying in your lap -fetching -lasers -other cats -food Dislikes: -carrier -being in water -picking up -tummy touch -vacuum

Story
Storm was abandoned by his owners. We started taking care of him this summer, then brought him in as it started getting colder. Storm is super sweet, but he’s very energetic as he’s very young. He’s constantly trying to play and roughhouse with our cats, but they don’t like him and it’s causing a lot of stress on our cats, which has led to them hiding and peeing outside of the litter boxes. About a month ago, we got him spayed and his shots. I can show proof if you’d like! I believe storm will do well with an experienced cat owner. It is disheartening that we have to rehome him, but we do not think it’s fair to put this stress on our cats. I really want to find someone who will love him as he deserves and can commit to him for the rest of his life.

Story
Chi is a very curious and cuddly cat named after the city Chicago, also known as the Chi. I adopted him when he was about 6 months old from a friend of a friend. He is very good around dogs after getting acclimated to them. He is scared of loud noises and will hide under furniture when scared. He is kind of shy but will be very much attached and loving to you once he warms up to you. He likes to cuddle when you go to sleep. Sometimes he likes to caress your face when you hold him. He does sometimes have issues with scratching furniture even though he has a scratching post and cat tree. He has also recently gotten into the habit of tearing open bags of food like chips, bread, and girl scout cookies while left unattended. I believe it comes from him being more curious about other human foods after he took a girl scout cookie a few weeks ago. Other than that he is a very sweet cat who gets along with other cats, dogs, and people. I haven’t seen him express dislike for anyone.

Story
Skittles was adopted as a kitten and given away as an adult. This was fairly traumatic for a sensitive girl like Skittles. Then she was given to us, and again, this was a big upset for Skittles. Now, she truly wants to feel at home with an experienced, quiet cat family. She wants to feel that she has finally settled into her own space with people she trusts. Then she will be a chatty, lie-in-a-warm-puddle-of-sunshine cat, and her once-happy disposition will shine. Skittles is about 7 years old, spayed, FIV/Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped (with lifetime free registration), and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home. The works! Please call Wendi at (859) 394-4910 or Brittney at (513) 265-7293 if interested. Skittles’s adoption fee is $125.
