Christmas is a beautiful gray and white kitten born into Viva Los Gatos Cat Rescue on Christmas Eve 2022.  She has lovely copper eyes, and a white chest and belly.  Christmas is a very active little girl that loves being with her siblings.  She is the most verbal of her brothers and sisters, and she loves to snuggle with them.   Christmas is not a lap cat, but she is a wonderful companion cat and loves to lay next to her favorite human.  She prefers if you just give her head pets and play with her.  Throw a ball or a stuffed mouse, and she will capture it!   Christmas is a little more aloof than her siblings, and more verbal, and would do well with a companion kitty such as one of her siblings.  Come meet this friendly little girl and see if she is a good fit for you and your family!   Interested in adopting Christmas or one of our other wonderful kitties? **Helix and Miko are a bonded pair. I will only rehome them together.** Helix is about 10 years old. Adopted in Naples, FL in 2015. He is super cuddly and purrs very loud. Helix has a special corkscrew on the last few inches of his tail. It doesn’t bother him at all-just special! Indeed, Helix is not bothered by anything. Miko is about 5.5 years old (born 8/17/2019) and very social. Miko was adopted in Clearwater, FL, found as a stray with his mama and 2 other siblings. He is adventurous and agile. He is a little skittish, but is cool if you move slowly. They’re both very social with each other, their humans, and guests. They’ll usually be the first to greet you or your guests. Helix’s only bad behavior is he will pee outside the litter box if it’s too dirty. Miko’s bad behavior is he will chew and/or eat strings, elastics, shoelaces, etc. Both cats are great with kids of any age. They’re not exposed to dogs much, so I think at this point in their lives they need a dog-free home.

She still needs to be spayed and has an appointment at PetFix on May 7th. She is sweet, loving, social, curious, friendly, and playful.

Emily has made her way to one of our loving foster homes recently, and discovered her very unique personality. Emily is a cat that loves attention and she’s not afraid to let you know it. That said, she is, like most cats, picky about when she wants that attention. Emily is a talker. From the moment you greet her when you wake up, to the time you go to lie down in bed, she’ll respond to whatever you say to her. While she hasn’t completely adjusted to living with other cats that aren’t her kittens, she has shown growth and can coexist with another cat. Given enough time, she will be a great companion to another cat. She’s shown that she wants to play with our cats, she just isn’t sure how to do it — but she is learning! Emily is independent and enjoys the option of alone time. She comes out and interacts with us often, but she enjoys having her own space to rest. She would do best in a home without small children and a limited amount of cats, preferably one or none. We are not sure how she is with dogs. Emily is somewhat territorial of her foster parents and will let our other cats know her feelings. Within the past three weeks, she has gotten better with the other cats and has even attempted to play with one of them. All told, Emily is a great cat and would love to meet her forever home! Where do we even start with this gorgeous boy? He’s been with us since he was just a couple months old. He is a very special boy who has had special care! He had to spend time with us, while we made sure that he was ready for you. You see, he has a four out of six heart murmur. In his short life, he has already received three echocardiograms and two pro BNP tests. His cardiologist said that he is doing extremely well and should be able to live out a normal life. Since there has been no change in his heart size or the strength of his murmur, she suggested that he come back in 18 months just to make sure that everything is doing well. This is amazing news! That means he can go join your family! The really good thing is if you adopt him he can stay with that same cardiologists. That way you don’t have to be a new patient and start all over again. Right now a patient follow up appointment is about $500 for the echocardiogram and exam. That’s not bad every 18 months for this wonderful, boy! Johnny is a sweet kitty cat that absolutely loves being around other cats. He is very kind and gentle. He would like a calm chill household with snuggly friends. Dippin Dots came to us a while back along with her kittens. She was found in a rough area of a Cleveland suburb trying to survive. She was very shy and nervous for a while. After hanging out in two different foster home, she was able to learn to trust again! She has made great strides, and it is certain that she will thrive in a home with other cat friends. She seems to make friends with cats quite easily. She would also love a chill home with maybe a couple or a single person. Lots of sunny spots are also important to her! She is very comfortable in a home but still is not a fan of being held. She likes being near people and playing with people.
