This sweet little guy is Teddy! Teddy is a gorgeous tabby boy with a social and easygoing personality that leads to him making fast friends with everyone he meets. After being found in a local park, a kind woman made sure he had food, comfort, and someone looking out for him. Thanks to her compassion, he made his way to FDHS, where he is now safe, cozy, and going to bed each night with a full belly. Teddy's stray days are forever behind him and we are determined to make sure he finds the best home possible! Which shouldn't be hard, Teddy is truly the whole fabulous feline package. Teddy is incredibly sweet with both humans and other animals. He does fantastic with the younger cats and kittens he shares his space with, and he is always happy to soak up extra attention, especially a good chin scratch.Now he is waiting for the purrfect forever home! Virginia has been hanging out at FDHS for several months now waiting for her forever family. And honestly, we are baffled she hasn’t been adopted yet! She came to us with her two brothers after their previous owner could no longer care for them. While her brothers have long since found their happily ever after, Virginia is still here waiting for her purrfect match.This little beauty queen is nearly grown, but she still has plenty of kitten spunk. She loves zooming around and playing with the other cats in her cat room Because of this, we think she would do best in a home with another feline friend to keep her company. Virginia is sweet and affectionate with her caretakers, though she can be a little shy when meeting new humans at first. Slow and steady definitely wins the race with this girl! She is a cat’s cat through and through, happiest when she has a feline companion nearby, but she will also warm up to the right person who gives her time, love, and patience. She and another cat were witnessed being thrown from a moving vehicle and left behind like nothing more than trash. Thanks to the kindness of Good Samaritans, she made it safely to us, and we promised her that life from then on would only hold love and care.Since settling in, Belladonna has truly blossomed. Though she is a little more reserved, she has done excellent in group housing and has proven to be the sweetest little lady. This little cutie patootie is Perry!He’s a tough little tabby with a sweet soul. This baby boy started life as a scruffy, scared orphan, but thanks to a kind police officer that brought him to FDHS and our awesome animal care team, Perry has become a true rags to riches story.Perry has been nothing but affectionate with our staff, showing off the loudest little purr motor every chance he gets. He absolutely loves the other cats and is usually found cuddled up with a buddy. He would thrive in a home with other friendly cats. Because he's so young and is used to the sounds and smells of the shelter dogs, we think he'd adapt well to a canine in the home. We aren't sure why this perfect little guy is still here but we know his future family is out there! **Neutered, and up-to-date on monthly prevention and age appropriate vaccines**
