Story
Lydia is an affectionate and petite orange lady! She loves finding an open lap to nap on when she's sleepy, but she is also an expert bird-watcher! Lydia has a young heart and loves to toss and chase her mouse toys and explore closets and cupboards. Lydia is a sophisticated lady and prefers to have a proper introduction to someone before they start petting her (let her sniff your hand when you approach) and she also will let you know when she's had enough pets for the moment. Lydia is available for meet and greets in her foster home!..Interested in adopting? Questions about this cat? Please submit an Adoption Questionnaire at www.ohioalleycat.org/adopt. Conifer likes pets and wand toys and balls and birds and snacks and... well, lots of things!. She is a playful girl who is wonderfully independent, and becomes a sweet, mellow fur-ball when she wears herself out. Some of the volunteers have also noticed that she is quite the bird nerd, spending hours on the catio or watching 'cat tv' through the window. Conifer lives in a room with other cats at OAR's adoption center and co-exists with them beautifully. Set up a meet and greet in her foster home today!..Interested in adopting? Twin Peaks is a beautiful and elegant cat looking for a home that can appreciate her full magnificence. She is a queen amongst jesters within the kingdom of the adoption center. She spends her days surveying the land and air from her throne and comes down at night to feast upon the day's spoils. Although Twin Peaks does find humor in the foolishness of other cats she would be just as happy living in a palace of her very own. Story
I have two beautiful adult cats (6 year olds) if you are looking to adopt an adult cat. I have spent my entire adult life rescuing/fostering and adopting out cats. I am looking to see if anyone who has a loving home is interested in adopting one or both of my two adult cats. They are currently both very happy and safe in my home, so no rush for anyone to make a decision they are not ready for. But if you are interested and have been considering adopting a cat already, and were interested in adult cats, please let me know! Pros of adopting an adult cat: typically a calmer, more settled pet with a well-established personality, usually already litter-trained, and less likely to be destructive, requiring less training and supervision. And yes this applies to my cats who are healthy, friendly, used to living with other cats and dogs, does not scratch on furniture, potty-trained, and very sweet. June is a cuddler, and any time you are seated, she will want to sit with you.

Story
Skittles was adopted as a kitten and given away as an adult. This was fairly traumatic for a sensitive girl like Skittles. Then she was given to us, and again, this was a big upset for Skittles. Now, she truly wants to feel at home with an experienced, quiet cat family. She wants to feel that she has finally settled into her own space with people she trusts. Then she will be a chatty, lie-in-a-warm-puddle-of-sunshine cat, and her once-happy disposition will shine. Skittles is about 7 years old, spayed, FIV/Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped (with lifetime free registration), and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home. The works! Please call Wendi at (859) 394-4910 or Brittney at (513) 265-7293 if interested. Skittles’s adoption fee is $125. Story
These are the things that we know Phasma prefers: 1) Indoor living with kind people, plush things to nap on, and cute little cat toys, 2) NOT living outdoors where his leg was injured .. cuz that is what often happens to outdoor cats, 3) women, because while he was outside, a kind woman fed him, neutered him, and loved him, 4) new situations because they are a bit scary for many cats, 5) other cats because they are just plain fun. Phasma has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), a condition that suppresses his immune system. But he is a perfectly healthy cat, with no signs of being slowed down by FIV! Most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives with no symptoms at all. The virus is not spread to people or dogs. And it is not spread to cats through casual contact -- like sharing litter boxes, water and food bowls, or through snuggling, grooming, and playing. Phasma is about 3 years old, neutered, Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped (with lifetime free registration), and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home. The works! Please call Wendi at (859) 394-4910 or Brittney at (513) 265-7293 if interested. Phasma’s adoption fee is $125. We also offer two cats for $200.
