Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Wynona is shy at first -- she is extremely sweet when she is comfortable, but give her a few days and she will be ready for some human attention. She loves chin scratches and just to be near her human. She gets along with other non-dominant cats and will just mind her own business -- she does not do well with cats who will bully her. Wynona is quick to seek out human company when comfortable. While she does get along with other cats, proper acclimation is extremely important in the process of adjusting to a new home and other cats. Wynona has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab on Petfinder does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. You will receive an email confirmation when your application goes through. We make no breed guarantees, we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with ZERO paid workers or admins. Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.

Story
Sweet Figgy was found near Columbus, a friendly stray, and found her way to our rescue for help finding a forever home. She is a torbie girl (tabby+some orange coloring) and just a little shy at first but definitely warms up quickly once comfortable -- she is the ultimate lap cat, all purrs and sweetness. Loves nothing more than a lap and some love:) She has been around other cats and dogs without issue but acclimation is always recommended for long term homes. She is playful and fun, and can't wait to have a home of her own! She is estimated to be 1-2 years old, and has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. Story
Piper was found as a friendly stray. She is a sweet girl who loves car rides and human attention. She would do best in a household with cats who are not overly dominant, as she is able to get along with other cats who are not assertive. She is estimated to be about 2 years old and has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. Story
Sweetie was rescued years ago, and this beautiful senior kitty is still waiting to be adopted! If you can’t adopt or foster, please help by sharing her post! She was the last cat from a colony where we fed for years, and she is seeking a forever home where she can be the sole princess. Sweetie adores being petted and will warm up to new people with a bit of time and patience. Once she trusts you, she will follow you around and beg for attention. Though she doesn’t like to be held, she will sit right next to you for hours. Sweetie is currently living in a foster home in the Columbus area. She’s best suited for a no-dog, only-cat home. She’s FIV/FeLV negative, current on vaccinations, and spayed. If located in Ohio and interested in meeting, fostering, or adopting Sweetie, submit an application via https://www.forgotten4paws.com/adopt-adoptform. Email contactusforgotten4paws@yahoo.com with any questions.

Buddy was rescued two years ago, and he is still seeking a forever home! If you’re located in Ohio and interested in meeting, fostering, or adopting Buddy, submit an application via our website. If you’re unable to adopt/foster, please share this post! Email contactusforgotten4paws@yahoo.com with any questions. This poor guy was found wandering around outside near a school (after presumably being abandoned). Buddy may look like a standard black cat, but he has some unique markings - a tiny white patch on his chest, sparse white hairs throughout, and white hairs in a ring formation around his neck, almost like he’s wearing a collar. He’s a friendly and playful guy that loves to be petted and will even climb in laps. Buddy is currently living in a foster home in the Columbus area. He has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He’s neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. His exact age is unknown, but it’s been estimated that he’s between 3-5 years old.
