Meet the big and beautiful Holt! She was adopted from us in 2020. Her previous owner unfortunately passed away, so that's how Holt ended up at the shelter again. Holt was saddened by her owner's passing, but we are sure that she'll be accepting to open up her heart to another family once again so she can like out the rest of her golden years. She deserves it! Holt is a couch potato. She spends most of her days sleeping, curled up in a nice and cushiony cat bed. She would enjoy having one or two to sleep on in her new home...But we think that YOUR bed would soon become her favorite! Her previous owner's family expressed that all she loved to do everyday was lay next to and sleep with her favorite person. She prefers head and ear scratches rather than back scratches. Even though Holt is a bit lazy... We have seen her playing with a ball track toy that spins, as well as a fun dangling wand toy. She still has some youthful energy left in her yet! Another thing that Holt loves: FOOD! She gets excited and starts meowing for her tasty food and lickable treat snacks. Holt likes her solidarity away from other cats as well as dogs. We think the best type of home for her would be one where she is the only pet. Come by the Humane Society to meet sweet old lady Holt!

She's big, she's bold, she's beautiful, she may be the cat you've been searching for all along... She's Andi! This black and white kitty isn't afraid to tell people how and what she's feeling. She's upfront with that! She'll let you know when she wants attention and when she wants alone time. It's okay, Andi. We appreciate the honesty! Andi is a couch potato and is very accepting to share couch time with someone. She likes to sit on the couch with people, right beside them. Sometimes even on them! She's a lap cat for sure. Her favorite toy to play with seems to be fun pom pom balls that she can bat and chase around the room. We think Andi would do best in a home without young children (5 and under). This is Lilly: an adorably petite cutie pie with a loud voice. Her meow is loud and good at getting people's attention. Lilly was very scared when she first arrived at the shelter. She didn't want anyone to even look at her. Even so, we could tell that she desperately wanted to be loved by someone. After some time and becoming adjusted, Lilly has gotten better at showing her true lovable self. She's still a little unsure but she is gradually getting more comfortable here. While getting pet, Lilly will reach out and put her little paws on people's chests and shoulders. It's like she's shyly giving you a hug and telling you how thankful she is for the attention! When she gets kissed, she headbutts against the person kissing her as if to reciprocate. She's so sweet! We knew that she had a soft side underneath that originally hardened, angry shell. Lilly just politely asks NOT to be picked up. We can respect her boundaries! Wet/pate food is her favorite thing to eat. Lilly would be happiest in a home as the only pet, and with a patient family willing to give her time to fully trust and connect with. Come by the Humane Society to meet Lilly!
