We have had Boss Babe for about 4 years and picked her up as a stray before she was fully grown. She was a great cat until we had kids, then she began to pee in the floor of the living room. We hoped the behavior would be resolved as the kids got older and were less aggressive toward her and had her temporarily re-homed. While in the temporary house with no children, she had no issues and used the litterbox. We've had her back for about 2 months and she is unfortunately back to old habits, our attempts to curb the behavior have failed and we think she is just incompatible with small children. She is otherwise a friendly and playful cat, though not hyperactive -- She is insistent about getting attention, which is where she got her name. She gets along well with other cats, but hasn't been around dogs. She's friendly with older kids (7+), but definitely would not recommend her to anyone with small children.

Jeanne is our longest resident currently. She's been with us over a year and has had some challenges. She went into foster care since she doesn't get along with the other cats at the ARC but she didn't do any better there. She came back to us and we would love nothing more than to place her in a home with someone that is looking for a loving, affectionate cat but ideally no other cats in the home. She loves people and would make a great lapcat for someone that needs companionship after a long, hard day at the office. She is absolutely gorgeous!! I am being showcased by the Humane Society of Morrow County in an effort to find me a permanent home. I arrived in May of 2023 after being removed from a hoarding situation of an elderly couple. They tried their best to care for me and many of my siblings, but it was just too overwhelming. We were removed in order to save our lives, which surely would not have turned out well in the long run. I’m ready for a new start now! Here are my highlights: • I am a spayed female. • I was born in the Spring of 2023. • I have been wormed, negative tested for FLV/FIV and vaccinated with felovax and rabies vaccine. • I am microchipped. • I am good with people and other cats. I have not been dog tested but my caregivers think I will adjust fine in a home with dogs. • I am shy and reserved, but my heart is huge and I have so much love to give

Good morning world!! I was a throw away, someone growing tired of me and tossing me out. Not sure why because I'm a pretty cool gal, full of love and always in search of a lap to lay on. I'm an older girl at about 10 years old. I remain hopeful someone will still find me worth the blessing of a loving home where I can spend my golden years lounging in the sun with no worries at all. I get along with other furry felines but I would probably do best in a home without small children as I don't like to be held. I have not been around doggos but willing to give it a try if needed. If you're looking for a friend to keep you company on those chilly nights we still seem to be having, give me a meet and greet and see if maybe we jive. I found Charles from Petsmart and was told that good with other cats which he does just not other male cats he’s a big old sweetheart. His ear is bent because he had. I think they called it a hematoma with his previous owner how we acquired him or how he ended up in the shelter was because his previous owner died, and the wife could not take care of him anymore, why I am getting rid of him is because he’s not getting along with our other male cat And he is also marking his territory because of it he is eight years old, but he is one of the biggest sweethearts I have ever had in my life. I am very sad to get rid of him.
