Hello, this is Bourbon, he is a four year old kitty. We adopted him as an eight week old kitten. He has the most unique personality I have ever witnessed a cat having. He is active and playful and loves belly rubs (has a dog-like personality). He may be slightly shy at first, but when he gets comfortable, he is always resting belly-side up, cuddling, looking for attention, and will become very talkative. He requires a good bit of attention and will let you know if he is in need of something. He is very sweet- has never clawed at or bit anybody or any other animal. He currently lives with a dog and was upset at first but they co-exist in peace after about a week. He has socialized with other neighborhood cats that have wondered into the yard, but if you have another cat, I would suggest a slow introduction. Bourbon loves looking out the windows, but is very much an indoor cat. If you would like a social cat that does not spend much time hiding, Bourbon is your guy.

1 year old Sweet and independent indoor cat, comes with litter box, cat tree and beds. Would do best in a quiet, calm home. Unknown if she likes other cats.

With Kristy’s help, we trapped the 2 kittens and took them to the Cape Fear S/N clinic last week.  My intention was to get them fixed, shots, etc., and release them again. However, the kittens are young and sooo skinny!  They are about 10-12 weeks old.  I have had them recovering at my feral cat sanctuary. The 2 kittens are “Yardley”, a female Domestic Short Hair gray tabby, and “Scrappy”, a male Domestic Short Hair with black fur. They started out scared to death and eyes bigger than saucers.  Now, a week later, they seem glad to see me, I’m petting and holding both of them and they are purring! They will be moved up to the house, and join Connor, after quarantine. Another rescue group is helping me TNR the mama and other 2 male cats.  The sad part is that the mama tabby is really skittish, but wants love.  She could easily be tamed and adopted out, but I just don’t have any room at this time. Meet Cali and Cairo; A Bonded Pair of Loving Brothers Cali and Cairo are two affectionate, sweet-natured brothers who are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They are both incredibly loving and enjoy cuddling, especially at night when they love to curl up in bed with you. At almost three years old (they will turn three in April), they are gentle souls who have never scratched, hissed, or bitten anyone. They thrive as indoor-only cats and are used to a routine of being fed wet food twice a day. Rehoming them is truly one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make due to a change in my living situation. I am seeking someone who can give them the love and care they deserve, ideally providing them with an even better life than I can.
