Story
My Girlfriend found this cat in shopping center parking lot. (she is almost a year old now) The next day we both took her in and we needed to let her stay at one of our places and then we had her for a few months and she was a very playful and sweet animal. She is great with people, has never shown any fear whatosever. Melania is a indoor cat, loves being inside and loves cuddling with others and really loves attention. She is litter trained, eats really well. Melania is not picky with her food at all which was a major plus for us, but we did notice that she loves wet food the most, typically salmon flavored foods. Sadly has the months went by My father could not handle the cat anymore because of his allergies and my Girlfriend was unable to take her in on account of the work she does, not much time to take care of a Cat. We are praying to God to find her a really suitable home for this young feline, she's precious and deserves the best owner and home.

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Georgie. I am a 9-month-old sweetheart. I was abandoned in the fall and a nice lady in the neighborhood brought me inside because I was not doing well and surely would not have made it in the freezing temperatures. When she took me to the vet to be neutered they learned that I am FELV+. I am not sure what that means, but I think it means I'm a very special boy! They gave me my shots and I am a very healthy kitty! I am gaining so much weight and getting to be such a big boy! I can be timid at first, but give me a kind hand and warm lap and I will be your best friend forever. My best buddy is my foster brother Beau, the bulldog. My foster mom says I must be an indoor only kitty and I would prefer a quiet home to keep my stress levels low, to help ensure my immune system stays healthy and strong. Do you think you could be my forever home? I have so much love to give ❤️ Thank you for reading my story🐾

Story
Tortellini escaped the euthansia list of our over crowded shelter. She is a sweet gal, who loves to chase bugs, string toys and gaze out the window from her cat tree . She has been fostered with other kitties, but would also love to be spoiled as an only kitty. Tortellini needs daily eye drops for life fir an eye condition that causes her pressure of not treated. She has the leukemia virus. traveljunkie345@yahoo.com

Story
Meet Ross and Rachael, they are an incredible dynamic duo. They came to our rescue at 4 weeks old, feral as all get out. Today they are the most loveable cuddly brother/sister combo ever. They are wild and crazy kittens, that will entertain you hours on end. Ross is the ring leader, he's not scared of anything. He will chase flies, and any other bug that he may find. Rachael is a beauty, that prefers to love on her people. She will rub on you asking for more pets. Both start off shy, till they get comfortable, and then their personalities start to shine through. Uncertain as to why they are still sitting in rescue, but you don't want to miss out on this pair.

Story
Hannah is a stunning beautiful cat. She's been spayed and microchipped and is current on her vaccines. She is a good and gentle cat, she likes to play and likes to be up high on the cat tree and loves a good scratching post. Hannah is kind of a loner and stays to herself but loves to be petted and when she meows it's kinda like a squeak ....  Hannah likes others cats and is used to dogs! Story
Gingersnap came to us with a very common and heartbreaking sad situation as a stray that landed in a kill shelter in Tennessee.   This beautiful girl was so terrified and despite that the shelter staff knew she  had a sweet spirit about her.   The shelter could have adopted her out because she is FIV positive.  Her way out alive was if she was to leave  with a reputable rescue that knew how to place cats like her.  She is very healthy and we have learned so much about cats living long and wonderful lives even with the FIV diagnosis.  She does not care for other cats and that is fine she cannot be around cats unless they are also FIV positive.   I'm sure she could adjust with another cat but she tends to just run away from them and she hisses and growls at dogs.  She would be a wonderful cat for a quiet home with a retired couple or empty nesters who have had all the young children fly the nest.  We do suggest a quiet home with no dogs  she loves to sleep in her little Kitty bed and enjoys a simple existence where she can receive human love and attention.   If you are interested in this sweet girl please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm
