Story
TuxC has been a loving and cherished companion for the past nine years. Born on April 28, 2015, she has brought so much joy and warmth into my life. It breaks my heart to let her go, but I am hopeful to find her a new, loving, and experienced owner who can give her the care and attention she deserves. TuxC has gone through a few big changes this year, including a move to a new state and the addition of a “cat-daddy” to her life. While she has handled these transitions fairly well, I’ve noticed she’s been more anxious lately. With my first child due in early February, I worry that another major adjustment might be too much for her. Additionally, my lovely husband, who has a fear of cats, has been trying his best to adjust, but having TuxC in the home has been a source of anxiety for him. After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to rehome TuxC so that she can thrive in a calmer environment, and so we can focus on preparing for our growing family.

Jenny's ideal home is one that is more on the quiet side. She'd like a very patient family to let her adjust to her new home at her own pace, and who won't pick her up. In return, she promises to make you smile everyday! To apply please visit apply.neshamarescue.org.

Story
Looking for a furry friend that could make you Instagram famous with her dorky antics? Love a challenge and don’t mind a bit of mess? Wish you had a cat that worshipped YOU instead of the other way around? Francesca might be your girl! Francesca is a beautiful, sweet and petite young adult with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) which makes her a bit wobbly and have some funky depth perception, but it doesn’t slow her down! She loves to play, cuddle, and chill out on the porch watching the world go by. She has never met a stranger and has lived with other cats and dogs, and gets along with gentile kids. She can be a little demanding when it comes to love and will be your little shadow wherever you go! Fran’s biggest challenge since she has been in rescue is that she does not consistently poop in the litterbox and sometimes prefers the floor. She will need a patient and dedicated pet parent to help her with her special quirks! Things you can look forward to as Fran’s parent: · The most expressive face ever seen on a cat · Watching her run like a horse in her sleep · Devotion and affection you would get from a dog · Not having to hide your plants since she cannot jump onto counters · A friend that gets along with everyone she meets Francesca is spayed, utd on vaccines, fiv/felv- and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $200. To apply please visit apply.neshamarescue.org

Story
Will-O-Wisp had a very tough start in life. He was trapped by animal control from a home that was hoarding cats inside and outside their home. He was one of he unlucky ones that was forced to fend for himself outside. It must have been so terrifying for him. It is a testament to his courage that he survived at all. He had some access to food, but he was small and underweight when he came to us. His interaction with people was likely minimal. He is a little guy but is tough as nails. He loves other cats but is a little leery of humans right now. He has made great strides since he came into foster care. He accepts chin rubs, loves to rub your legs, marking you as his own. He even will come out and greet you when you come into the room. The purrfect home for him would be someone who has a friendly cat that will be his buddy and is willing to work with him in a small room until he gets comfortable. He wants to badly to interact – he just needs time and patience. Willie is a wonderful kitty. For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

Story
Junior Mint came to Purr Partners as a shy little boy, not used to being around people and other animals. He took immediately to the other foster cats and loves to play with them. When he is held he purrs and purrs, and if he is alone with his foster mom, he wants her attention and will stretch out on the cat tree and reach out to her. He has become efficient with the computer and he especially loves to help his foster mom work. 😻Junior Mint has tested positive for FIV, but that is not an issue. It is NOT contagious to other cats except through deep puncture wounds like those caused in fights by two unneutered males. It is NOT transmitted by using the same food and water bowls, litter boxes or toys, and many of us have FIV cats happily living with non-FIV cats in our own homes. FIV positive cats, with good vet care such as you would give any cat, can live a normal life span. 🐾For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

Poetry is a wonderful girl, who gets along with all the cats in her foster home and enjoys playing with them.🐾 She loves to sit in the cat tree and take a cat nap, play with wands or roll in catnip. She will occasionally sit with her foster mom, if she doesn't already have cats on her, as Poetry does not like to cause a fight with the others. Poetry would love to find her own family, is it yours?😻For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

Story
Abby is a mature and independent feline who loves to enjoy her solitude! As cats grow older, they often become less interested in socializing with other cats or dogs. They prefer to spend their time relaxing and sleeping in a peaceful environment. It's important to provide older cats like Abby with a comfortable and quiet space where she can retreat for when she needs some alone time. This could be a cozy bed in a quiet room or a favorite spot in the sun. Additionally, providing plenty of toys and stimulation can keep her entertained and mentally stimulated during the day. As for affection, Abby loves attention - on her own terms, of course! Many cats enjoy being petted and cuddled, but it's important to always respect their boundaries and not force them to interact if they don't want to. When I'm in the mood for some love, I'll let my human know by approaching them and rubbing against them. Overall, it's wonderful  knowing what I like and don't like. I want to keep enjoying my peaceful and relaxing lifestyle! Abby is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all shots. For more information and to fill out an application, go to www.pawsforlifenc.org. Foster to adopt option is available. ##552665##

Story
Loki is definitely a love bug. He wants to be near his people and normally enjoys laying on you. He gives really good head bumps. He is not into playing;  he is just a chill boy. He does "talk" some but is more of the strong and silent type unless he is telling you it’s time to eat. He definitely enjoys being in his cat tree so he can see what is happening. He likes other cats.  He is scared of dogs so he needs a house with no dogs and no intentions of getting one.  His ideal home is one with adults or adults with teenagers. He does not like babies, toddlers, or young children.  Loki is on special food. He needs the Urinary formula to keep him healthy and to help keep UTI’s (Urinary Tract Infections) and crystals away.  He is up to date on shots, negative for FIV / FeLV, microchipped, and neutered.  ##455192##

Story
We adopted Willow as a three week old kitten. Someone had thrown her in the trash and we rescued her and have had her as apart of our home for 9 years. My wife has went through serious health issues over the past three years and due that we are having to re home her, as my wife can’t have cat dander in the house. Willow is declawed, spunky but yet very sweet at times and will cuddle. We hope that the person adopting her will be her forever home.
